******************* is dishonest and a *****. Steer clear of him and his supposed woodworking business. I contacted ************ on 3/20/22 to commission a live edge table for the new home we are building (he has a nice website). I drove out to his shop in ****** to meet with him on 3/21. The address he gave me for his shop turned out to be his house. He told me due to OSHA the public could not go to his actual shop. I should have known there was something wrong with his story at that time. We had a great meeting, in his garage, he showed me some of his other work, wood samples, etc. Over the next couple of days, he sent me links for several slabs to choose from for my table. I made a selection and paid him of the cost to build the table ($2,992.00) via PayPal on 3/25. I sent him a text in early April and he said the slab was on its way. On 5/16 I sent him a text and he said the slab had arrived, it was beautiful and they would begin working on it and hed send pictures. He verified that my desired late June early July delivery expectation would work. In early June, I sent him a text asking for an update and photos. He didnt respond. Since then, I have texted, called, emailed multiple times and received no response. On 7/14 I filed a dispute with PayPal for having not received what I paid for. Thankfully, today, PayPal issued me a full refund. Thank goodness I used PayPal to pay the down payment for my table. Buyers beware of doing business with ******************* and Shah Woodworks in ******. I see now by reading other ****** reviews other people have had similar problems dealing with him. Of course, his website lists only satisfied customers and what are undoubtably fake photos of work he has supposedly done.
