This spring of 2022 we worked with Kyle to complete our 2021 tax returns. It was a long drawn out process due to him getting sick and getting in a horseback riding accident. Eventually we paid him for all of his services via Venmo $634 in June. He said he had filed our return. A couple of months went by and I tried to contact Kyle multiple times to see when we would get our return. Finally he answered and he said he’d look into it. He never contacted us, we have been trying to get in touch with him since august with no response. We found out recently that our taxes were never filed through a letter from the IRS. We are now scrambling to get them filed through another accountant. I know Kyle is getting our messages because our accountant reached out to him as well and our accountant saw that Kyle viewed his LinkedIn profile but never responded to our new accountant emails either. He is deliberately ignoring us and we need him to own up to his mistakes and refund us for not completing a service we paid him to Complete.Initial Complaint

This whole situation with Kyle has been awful. I’ve had hired him to do my taxes for the last 3 years. The first 2 years I had 0 complaints but ever since this latest tax season, it has been nothing but a nightmare. I gave him my tax information to begin my taxes and didn’t hear from him for months. When I finally hear from him he said he has it taken care of, and my wife and I paid him $500 to do our taxes. Then again never heard from him. I call, text, email, and seriously cannot get any response from him. I don’t know what to do now, our taxes are late and we are going to have to pay more money to make it right. I want to get our money back for a service that was never fulfilled and make sure he doesn’t do this to anyone else. There’s been no transparency or communication on if we need to find someone else, or how we can get our money back.
