              On or about the 26th day of April a guy came to my home stating he was c from ADT and wanted to discuss some home alarms. We saw something we liked and began the purchase process. After it was installed we noticed the products were inferior and we called the next day for them to uninstall the system, no money was involved at the time so we didn't need a refund.Later I discovered my account was charged $69.99 which we never discussed. I've been trying to get my money refunded every since only to hear lie after lie when I call with the latest being my check is in the mail and I will receive it in 3 to 6 weeks!I believe this company is fraudulent because I've got nothing but the run around the numerous times I've called and I found out they are not ADT after misrepresenting themselves as ADT.In conclusion I want my money immediately and I don't want anyone else to be duped by this fraudulent company.

              I was told by the company that I have to have a permit in case the company needed to contact dispatch if there were a false alarm otherwise I would be fined ****** by the police department. What gives them the right to provide misinformation and even put that in the contract when they don't know what rules and regulations in each city. I was on the line for hours speaking to 3 different reps the other day and even had one speak to an ofiicer just to prove that I don't have to have a permit. I have been back and forth on this since last week and not one rep listened to me! That is why I had them speak directly to a dispatch officer to prove I wasn't making it up! Second of all, I wish I could get out my contract that I just signed b/c the door to door sales rep did not have a permit to go in my area selling your services and yes I am reporting him! I feel like I have been misled just so he could make his "quota." It makes me sick how people are taken advantage of!!!

              From the contract it states that "certain government agencies require..." meaning that a permit could or could not be required. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused, but are happy to inform you that you will not need any permitting for the system. With regards to the sales rep, we will address him selling in areas he does not have a permit to sell in. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
