On June 16, 2023 N-Hance came out to refinish my cabinets. I asked the team was the product toxic and was informed no. I informed them ( and the representative at the time of the sale) that I am a breast cancer survivor who works from home and limit my exposure to toxic chemicals due to my previous health issue. I was informed that the products were not toxic. Within 24 after application I became ill, nauseous, low appetite, spontaneous runny noses, diarrhea. I had both the kitchen cabinets and the window sill refinished and the sill emitted a heavy odor that sickened me. I could barely stand to enter the kitchen. I had to keep windows open and a fan going for weeks. I called N-Hance who uses the pigment supplied by Harris Research and was told that the product should not have any odor. I requested SDS sheets that were dated March 2009 showing that the product used contained asbestos amongst other harmful chemicals. Using this product on my cabinets meant that I would never be able to refinish them as asbestos is most harmful when friable. Adam, with N-Hance, continued to negate my experience and told me that according to the chemist with Harris Research, the product is not toxic nor does it emit an odor when cured with the UV light. I explained to Adam that the representative must have forgotten to cure the shelf as the odor was heavy and sickening. I asked Adam for documentation to substantiate the chemist's claims. Adam, did not send the documentation but instead forwarded another SDS sheet for the N-hance vivid pigments showing the use of other toxic products. In addition, the team who applied the product did not use proper PPE, they got the product all over my painted walls and did not use proper cleaning or disposal method. For now, I have to continue to keep the window sill covered in plastic and keep four air purifiers going in hopes that the fumes in the air to do not permanently harm me, my husband or 10 year old grandson.

I had my kitchen cabinets painted by Nhance in 2021 in Orlando FL. They sold me on an option using some fancy UV light that would warranty their job for life. It would cover any bubbling, peeling and obvious issues with the paint. It didn’t cover chips or scratches. The work was horrilbe. We had just installed $6000 countertops, a new sink and faucet and yup, they were covered in paint. They also got pain all over my tile. He must have sent his crew back 3-4 times. For the next 3-4 months or so, I thought the job was done when the paint started rubbing off on every door on my bottom cabinets. All I used was water on a towel to clean them. They came back and removed and repainted all of the doors. Several months later, the same thing happened. I tried contacting the owner and was informed that he had sold the business to someone else. I did not know that Nhance was a franchise when I first signed on with them. He gave me the number of the new guy who came out that same day. He stated that the work was no longer under warranty. Why on earth would I pay an extra $600 for a lifetime warranty when according to this guy, the warranty was for only 1 year? He told me to file a complaint with Nhance. He gave me someone’s email who never responded. He told me that the new owner was receiving numerous complaints. I called Nhance and spoke to Julieann who immediately became defensive and condescending when I questioned their support. She stated that she would call the owner. He never called. I called her again. I waited for about 2 months and still no call back. I called her back and left her a message stating that if they were not going to do anything, that I wanted at least my $600 back for the warranty. I have now been waiting several months with no answer. This is unprofessional and Nhance does not stand by their product and that their individual owners can essentially do what they please. I want my money back!
