I ordered an outdoor coffee table from them, when it arrived the item was damaged. I called ***************************** service and they agreed to send a replacement. The replacement arrived and it was damaged as well, I again called ***************************** service and since the table was now back ordered they could not send a replacement. Instead they offered me a partial refund to keep one of the damaged items which I accepted. They then sent me an RMA and *** tracking number and scheduled *** to pick up the item. The next day 5/28/2024 *** came picked up the item and gave me a receipt. Then on 7/8/24 they charged my card stating that they did not receive the return. I called ***************************** service who said they had no record of *** picking up the item, so I would need the pick up receipt and they would give me a refund. I provided them the receipt I was given as well as the tracking number and ring video footage of *** picking up the item. ***************************** service then said it was not enough proof since they still have not received the item. The next ***************************** service agent said, I see the item was picked up but that they need to file a claim with their partner (whoever that is) and that they would help and asked I provide my phone number and email address. When I sent it to them they changed their story again and said they could not refund me until they receive the item (it has not moved since 5/28). I have called multiple times and they promised a supervisor would call me back which has never happened. I have emailed multiple times and every ***************************** service agent tells me a different story. There is no way to get a clear answer or resolution with them as it keeps going around in circles. They stole my money for item I returned to them and refuse to help. I ordered and received a rug that had the correct labels for the product on the packaging. I did not actually open the product until it was needed, which was 21 days after the 30 day return period. The product recieved did not match what was ordered in the website or in the product packaging/labeling. They refuse to accept a return or swap the product for the correct product. In addition, they declined to post my review about the incorrect product being received. If labeled incorrectly, they need to resolve the problem to avoid the same issues with other consumers. I am extremely disappointed in their ***************************** service and failure to exchange a product misrepresented on their website.Review from Saundra B

Worst company EVER ! I ordered a couch from them six weeks ago and it never came. I called and called now. It shows out of stock on their website. No one wants to help me. They gave me some bogus phone number to call to somewhere warehouse, which is actually some Google phone number where no one answers. $1600 couch no where to be found. The people who work there have no idea what the heck theyre doing. Im about to obtain a lawyer and take these people to court. I can see why theres no more stores.Review from Ivan J

My roommates and I are rearranging our home, replacing an old T desk with two new desks. After hours of searching, I found a brown desk on Bed, ****************************** that fit our space and color requirements. I specifically chose brown because dings and dirt show up too easily on black or white. I have a permanent back injury and cannot assemble or move furniture myself, so we scheduled a day when friends could help. This included moving other desks upstairs and the kid's desk downstairs.Upon opening the package, we discovered the desk was white instead of the brown I ordered. As a writer who spends significant time at my desk, this error was particularly upsetting.I contacted customer service, but they could not send the correct desk as it was now out of stock. They offered only two options: a full refund and *** pickup, or keeping the incorrect desk with a partial $47 refund. This meant either being without a desk while searching for a replacement and rescheduling help, or keeping a desk I didn't want and didn't technically purchase. They should have informed us if the brown desks were out of stock, but they did not.I asked to speak with a supervisor, but was told the offered solutions were the best they could do. Given the inconvenience and frustration caused by their mistake, especially after arranging for help to move and assemble the furniture, they should have allowed us to keep the desk and promised to send the correct one once back in stock. I was so frustrated and depressed at the end that I eventually gave up and accepted the $47.I am highly dissatisfied with the service and lack of appropriate compensation for their error. I hope Bed, ****************************** will take this complaint seriously and improve their ***************************** service and inventory management practices. I bought a vanity for my upcoming bathroom renovation. The order was place in March 2024 and my contractor doesnt open it until he started the renovation. Until yesterday when he opened the box to check on the vanity it was broken and cracked. I reached out to Bed ***************************** yesterday to see if I can get a replacement for the ceramic top, but I was told unfortunately the item was over 30 days return policy so we cant do anything about this I am not asking to return the item. I only asked for a replacement. I asked to talk to the manager, the associate put me on hold and came back said that his supervisor is in the meeting and he/she would said the same thing. I told them Ill reach out to my credit card to dispute the transaction. I have tons of box to open, I cant open all those humongous boxes to check when my contractor hasnt get to the project. I still has two vanities that I purchased from them at the same time of this one and hasnt open it yet. I hope it wont broken when I open it. I would NEVER EVER do business with Bed ***************************** again. Bad business this is why it went out of business.Review from Sandra I

I do not recommend ordering from overstock.com. I ordered 2 dressers upon delivery they were damaged, looked like a forklift had gone through one. Unfortunately I was not home when they delivered or I would have refused them. I called that same day sent pictures had a case open and have called over 10 times to come pick these dressers up for return, Im told the same thing every call the case is being escalated in 2 days they will call you and schedule a pick up. nothing is being done! Bed bath and beyond I ordered a pool ladder at the price of $755.56. When we received the ladder and started to put together the biggest outside piece that sits outside the pool we realized this is not the ladder we ordered. Its smaller, not as sturdy and doesnt look as pictured. I ordered this set, spent more money because of this piece. I called ***************************** service on 5/17/2024 and the agent told me she is sending shipping a message to send me the correct piece. 6/15/24 I hadnt received the piece and needed a ladder for summer season so I called again and the agent told me she is sending a priority email to shipping for a status and I will receive a message within 3 days. Not happy but need a ladder for the pool I agreed to wait again. On 6/20/24 I received the following response.A request was sent to our warehouse to ship the replacement part. They are unable to send the parts needed. I apologize for the inconvenience and want to provide you with the available options we currently have for you.1- We can offer a partial refund of $105.90 back to your original form of payment to keep the item as is.?2- We can have the item returned for a full refund. we cannot process a full replacement for this item since the item is currently out of stock.I couldnt believe I waited that long just to not get the correct ladder and a small refund to the biggest piece of the ladder that I spent so much money on. I wanted to send the whole thing back but desperate for some type of ladder now that its summer I agreed to take it. I will never give them a single ***** of my money again and warning all family friends not to shop here. I have loved shopping at Bed, Bath and Beyond for years but they recently closed the store near me. I have been looking online for a small ****** bed and BB&B has been sending me coupons regularly for 20% off, plus I had a $20 credit from ages ago. I found a ****** bed on their website for $1,183. The 20% coupon was automatically applied, which brought the total down to $967 with the shipping protection. I continued to see that price at checkout. I entered my card information and checked the amount again, which showed the discounted rate. Well, imagine my surprise when I got notification from BB&B about my order, and it was the full price. I called ***************************** service today, and though the person was nice and was trying to be helpful, he said he couldn't do anything because it had been over 24 hours (literally just barely over 24 hours since I ordered) and it had supposedly shipped already. I couldn't cancel and he said he couldn't apply the credit. What large company doesn't have the capability to issue a partial refund or credit to honor their coupon?The ***************************** service rep said I could use the 20% off coupon again, but I told him that doesn't really help me because I only wanted to buy the bed, which wasn't cheap, plus how do I know it'll work next time because it showed it was applied all the way through the checkout process. He offered an additional 15% coupon, which also doesn't help and means I have to spend more rather than save the $200 I thought I was saving. Worst customer service, I order an adult, teen bunkbed first time shipped. Missing the other box that was suppose to be shipped with it. The carrier lost it somewhere along the line. Bed Bath and Beyond was suppose to ship a replacement. A month later still nothing. When I call I just get the run around. If I have known this I would of never ordered from them. Worst customer service of ALL time! I ordered a large rug through overstock.com during a memorial day sale. The incorrect item was shipped to my home (run in the completely incorrect color). After calling ***************************** service I was told that they could issue me a return label, but I would need to purchase on my own new packaging to repack the run in and drive the oversized item which doesn't fit in my vehicle on my own to a *** store to return!! They also said they could not do an exchange for the correct item that I ordered and that I would need to repurchase the item again on my own but that they would not honor the sale price I originally purchased it at - even though it was THEIR error in shipping the incorrect item. I was told that there was no supervisor to speak to or ability to escalate the issue and that they would have someone call me back. They did not. After calling again to speak to a different agent the next day I was asked to give a 1 hr window where a supervisor would call me. Instead the agent called back at that time saying the supervisor still was not available and would call me later that afternoon. They never called. After still never receiving the return label information I called again and ended up having to prompt an email thread multiple days later to even get the return label information again confirming I would need to purchase return shipping packaging with my own money AND somehow find a way on my own to get the item to a USP store. Absolutely ridiculous. I NEVER shop at this company again.
