Took taxes in March 2022 for my 2021 taxes and hadn't received anything by July. Contacted the tax preparer. Tried to reach out to them again in August 2022, talked to them in October, 5 days before taxes were due and Martin and Kathleen claimed they had lost the taxes, even though they had done my boyfriend's taxes that we provided the same day. Martin stated on October 15 that the taxes were done and file and they would mail my receipt. I never received my refund and started looking into it in February 2023. I had my new tax professional look into it at the first of April. I started contacting them every day. Martin stated that they had filed them and Martin would contact me back and he never did. I went into IRS to confirm my documents and when I was able to get into my documents it shows they were submitted April 6, 2023 and I have yet to hear back from Martin or Kathleen.Initial Complaint

In January 2020 I filed 5 years(2015-2019) worth of taxes with Marty E**** at TaxPro. I paid him $885.00 for this service. I was aware that i was only goimg to get 3 years of the returns back. I never recieved my 2018 return($2,100) due to him filing the wrong W2 that was supposed to be filed in 2016. I called many times to ask what was going on and he could never resolve the situation. Ive called the IRS for 2 years trying to figure out what happened to the 2018 return. In febuary 2022 I recieved a notice from the IRS saying that my 2018 return was rejected and the new amount was $0. I reached out to Marty to get copies of all of the returns that he sent to the IRS. I called, emailed, texted multiple times but never got anything from him until I went to see him in person. He was very dismissive and argumentative that he did nothing wrong. He said he would email the copies of the returns and made me leave. I only recieved copies of the years 2018 and 2019. I called several times to get the other 3 years and he has not sent them. So I called the IRS to see if they could help me and they said that they have never recieved the years 2015 and 2016. Ive been trying to get into contact with Marty E**** and he has been ignoring me. I paid him to service these tax years and he is being non responsive and uncooperative. The supporting documents shows the letter from the IRS saying my new return amount is $0. The other document is my receipt that shows I paid for the 5 years.
