I am a Realtor who represented homeowners. I am filing the complaint on his behalf as he is older gentleman who struggles with technology. Owners wanted to sell property. Realized roof needed replacement. Started roof replacement process with insurance company in May 2023. Adjuster came & within a month they approved main job & sent check for over $40K. Chose to go with Levi after recommendations from friends. He found the adjuster had not properly inspected everything that needed to be done. Levi spent TEN months battling with insurance company to get things finalized. Every time homeowners received check from the insurance company, Levi requested they sign it over to him so, "I can order all supplies & then when claim is done, I can immediately pull the trigger to get job started." Although odd, we knew he worked with other friends in same manner, so did what he asked. In the meantime, house was sold, now both old & new homeowners began to communicate with Levi. Long process & we worked through it with Levi. Fast forward to March 2024. Levi informed us it was FINALLY DONE! Contacted new homeowners on April 7, 2024, & scheduled the work to be completed on April 25, 2024. On April 25th no workers showed up! At end of that day after several calls/texts to Levi by new homeowner he received email from Levi stating that he couldn’t get a crew to travel to St. George for one roof. Material being installed was “different type of application” & would need a “qualified crew” to do the work. He would be in contact the next morning with more information. It is now May 23, 2024, & NO ONE has had any contact with Levi since that email on April 25, 2024. We are all trying to contact Levi & HC Storm Contractors & now NONE OF THE PHONE NUMBERS WORK that are listed for the company anymore. Cell phone VOICEMAIL IS FULL. BUSINESS LICENSE in the state of Utah is NOW EXPIRED on April 4, 2024. It appears he has STOLEN close to $100K & isn’t going to be finishing the job.
