      We purchased ATC-PLA700-3619 with 3000 power system from Parris RV on June 10th, 2024. During orientation the Parris RV rep stated the unit had 3000 power system with 800 w of solar on the roof. This is a large RV without a roof ladder, when we picked up we were not provided a ladder to view the roof and check solar. We brought RV home to ************ and learned this past Sunday that we had an RV with a "2000" power system and 400 w of solar. We immediately contacted Parris RV and have delayed our family trip to ****** to try and remedy this with Parris RV. Today I was told that Parris RV refuses to remedy or take any action to make this right and has stated we as the new RV owners should have noted that this RV was not equipped with proper power system and has placed blame on my wife and I. They are asking us to pay over the next 20 years close to a quarter million dollars for this RV that does NOT suit our needs......I am asking BBB to contact Parris RV and have them remedy this situation or our only option is to refuse to pay the loan.....Thank you for your assistance

      ***** we do not stock the *** units with the power options you are referring to. That would be a special order only. I have forwarded this to our sales department in ******. They will contact you. We do have the **** and included option list on the vehicle detail page on our website. So the website was accurate on the equipment.

      We purchased a new trailer from Parris RV (2022 Vortex toy hauler). This trailer was just over a year old when our landing gear failed while on a trip. The batteries were leaking out fluid, our door lock numbers had peeled off and our fridge was not closing properly. Our tires were also wearing in a strange pattern. It took us 6 weeks to get an appointment at the ********* location. This was February 2024. We were told our trailer was out of warranty and it would cost us for repairs and the batteries had frozen. The trailer has a "smart charge" system, and we always keep it plugged in when not in use. It's not possible to freeze the batteries. They insisted it was our fault they froze, and we are responsible for replacement charges. We then had to explain we had an extended warranty so supposedly parts were being ordered for the other issues. It took several phone calls & several weeks to get the repairs done. When we finally could pick it up, we met with one of the service managers, but he seemed disinterested with our concerns. They couldn't find the keys to the new door lock, and when they installed it, they failed to line up the striker & the door wouldn't latch. They just folded in the arm rail to hold the door. They ran over the plug. We sat there for another hour while a service tech changed the cord only to figure out it was wired wrong once we left the facility. We installed new batteries & realized they wired the batteries wrong for the battery upgrade we paid extra for. This is just the highlights of what went wrong. Our fear is the battery issue is happening to others and they don't know that it could be a wiring issue & paying to replace batteries. We are still waiting on a response on the tire wear issue. Parris RV sent us a text asking for pics which we sent over a month ago. I've made several calls & left several messages with the ************* still have not heard back.

      *****, you absolutely will have the batteries freeze if left outside. Keep in mind these are deep cycle RV batteries unlike maintenance free car batteries. Deep Cycle batteries have distilled water in them, you will need to pop the cap off every few times you camp and check the level to get maximum use out of them. Any battery with water in them will freeze under 32 degrees. The batteries do come with a warranty from Interstate battery company, keep in mind this is not our warranty but a warranty from Interstate. When batteries get frozen, they are no longer warrantable. This would be user error or neglect. I have sent a screen shot of your concerns to our service department. Keep in mind that your trailer is out of warranty. We will ask if they will help with your tires, but again you are out of warranty. Tire wear can come from many different things like overloading, getting out of alignment from hitting a pot hole or curb. Rough roads can get the tires out of alignment also. You can get it aligned at an alignment shop. We don't do this type of work. We didn't build this trailer, but we can fix it. I am sorry you have had these issues, we will do our best to represent you with the warranty companies.

      Purchased this trailer 9/9/22 from Parris RV. They are dishonest and just want to make a quick buck! They will tell you whatever you want to hear. We told them we never go to RV parks we only dry camp and they knew this after we bought a lemon trailer from them in March of 2022 and in order for them to buy that one back we had to buy another one from them. Even though we didn’t want to and the trailer would never work the way they said it would. They told us this trailer had solar. No solar. We told them we wanted Lion energy batteries and asked what kind they sold they told us lion energy batteries that they worked with them directly we got some Chinese knock offs. Those are just a few of the things they said. They know nothing about their trailers! They sell you trailers that the fridges don’t work in elevations above 5500 feet! Which is most of Utah people! Told to us by one of their technicians and the manager this last week and that it should have a conversion kit and that every trailer they send out west has a conversion kit because of our elevations. Well this one doesn’t! They don’t make it for this fridge. There is a hole somewhere in the trailer causing a tornado of dust inside every time we take it out. Inside cabinets, walls, floors covered in at least an inch of dust every time! Broken speakers, panels falling off walls, gas that spews back out at you when you try and fill up the tanks, shower surround that won’t stay on the wall that they just keep gluing and it pops right off and the nature of a bathroom and shower is steam and will create mold behind the shower surround that is not secured to the wall. This is just the beginning of the list of issues. They ghost you. We have had a manager swear at us and call us names and tell us it’s not their issue that it’s your problem. Their techs try to scare you off to get things fixed saying they’ll charge you a service fee if they can’t find anything wrong with it when they are not trained well at all!

      I am sorry you have had problems with your trailer. Keep in mind Parris RV didn't build it, but we can fix it. We are the go  between for you and the manufacture. We do not get to chose to fix things under warranty because you believe they are wrong. We have to do what the manufacture says because it is their warranty. We are also not able to just send a trailer back to the factory because you believe it doesn't work. We can fix anything that is wrong with it that is authorized by the factory. If you are not happy with the type of trailer you bought you can trade it or sell it.

      I am rejecting this response because:

       You are selling trailers that do not work in all altitudes of our state or even most of them! You are telling customers that they come with certain things and they do not! Your service department are not trained well and cannot fix things properly and takes multiple techs to find the issue to even get it fixed or attempted to be fixed. Your managers and sales people are liars and have extremely poor customer service skills. Lying to their customers! You are in fact correct you are the in between for the manufacturer and the consumer. It is your job to know what you are selling on your lot! We asked lots of questions after our first ordeal with your company and the lemon trailer you sold us! The value of this piece of junk dropped almost 20k in the less then a year! Our trailer has been in for the same issues multiple times trying to get fixed because they came shipped to you in the condition it was received to us and we put these things on a list when we went through a crappy walk through and yet we’re still waiting. Why didn’t you do a thorough walk through yourself when receiving it? The first time we took it out water flooded into the storage and under the kitchen sink! I’m not talking dripping I’m talking flooded! The gas tank wasn’t even able to have gas put into it because it was so horribly put together! The bed in the bedroom was broken. The kitchen sink has tasty tar around the drain that gets all over your dishes! How is that even safe to wash your dishes in? These are just a few of things. Why didn’t you inspect your trailer? Don’t you want to sell good trailers to people? Don’t you want to be honest and not rip people off? Don’t you want to cover yourself and not accept crappy trailers from the manufacturers? Sounds like a problem to me that you are passing onto your customers that you don’t give a crap about! I have never been treated so terribly by a business ever in my life!

      My dad purchased a 2022 Shadow Cruiser Travel Trailer for my wife and I as a wedding gift from Parris RV in ****. We found out after they sold us the new travel trailer that their are several different major recall"s on this trailer that poses an immediate threat on our **************** tte trailer also had a major propane leak in the stove regular in the stovetop inside the unit had a major propane leak from 2 major areas of the travel trailer that could have killed my ********** Parris RV kept putting these major Manufacturor defects on a long waiting list knowing this was an urgent matter to that had to be addressed immediately, not months down the road, Our trailer was under manufacture warranty that parris rv sold us with the trailer so all of these major defects are covered under my warrenty. And needs fixed immediately not almost 4 months later, the trailer also had a major defects on the entire seal around the entire outside of travel trailer that caused the trailers entire roof to leak every storm we had, and the entire slid out was leaking inside the entire area of the slid out causing sever water damage's to the inside of trailer, the entire couch hida bed destroyed, the walls, floor and entire rug all destroyed by water damages, the kitchen ************* coushens on the bench seats all ************ damaged, the entire slide out area was destroyed by water damages & black mold started to cover the entire water damaged areas inside the trailer, the master bedroom ceiling fan leaked & soaked our bed, also caused black mold to grow destroyed our mattress, the wood that mattress sat on, and inside our cabinets leaked water & black mold. ************* had the same issues as the rest of the trailer all 3 mattress's in bunk room destroyed by water damages & black mold had to be thrown out, all the personal property located inside this travel trailer was destroyed by water damages and black mold caused by Manufacturer's defects in the brand new shadow Cruiser Travel Trailer Parris RV sold us back on Nov 22, 2023, we also found out the frame was put in backwards which causing a crash risk also another recall, then we found out the autimin outside the trailer had been recalled because it extends to far out poses an injury threat, both sinks faucets leak, my battery's won't hold a charge so theirs a parasitic draw somewhere in the trailer, &:the carbon monoxide detector doesn't work properly that's why my wife and I had no clue about the major propane leaking inside our trailer until it had almost killed both of us. We both had suffered propane poisoning & black mold sickness we was in & out the ** every other day for ******************** caused by propane poisoning & black mold sickness finally Parris RV service Department had gotten our trailer into their shop on March 24, 2023 we've been calling them about these major defects & recalls since we bought the travel trailer back on Nov 22, 2022, When we purchased the trailer Parris RV sales rep claimed they did a throw inspection of the trailer prior to us picking the trailer up a couple days after we purchased it, that they had tested & made sure everything with the trailer was functioning properly including the stove & other major appliances, they also claimed the propane valve's and regular was all working properly. Then they did a quick basic walk thru with us then sent us on our way not knowing anything about the trailer, the owners Manual, or any other related manuals for the trailer, every time we be contacted Parris RV for help with the trailer it was a huge hassle they were rude, refused to help answer our questions, they even sold us a broken tv, so when we contacted t them about the broken tv needed to be replaced with a new one they got very be very ignorant towards us but they replaced it 2 weeks later and made us wait an entire day for them to contact us to pick it up. It's been a total nightmare this is our very 1st RV experience we've never owned an RV before. This will be our last. This trailer was put together so cheaply everything is falling apart or not set up at all they just set it in their 1 hazard after another my wife and I are lucky to be alive to share our story, we're still waiting for our trailer to be fixed properly it's been almost 2 months now it's been in Parris RV'S service shop and still their we've been living in a hotel since, our service animals were also affected by these major Manufacturor defects in our 2022 shadow Cruiser Travel Trailer we bought from Parris RV in ****** **.

      July **************************************** $70,000 +Repairs on a new toy hauler that satisfaction is not being done.Im in need of Help with this most frustrating issue. Their shop has had it in supposedly Doing repairs for a myriad of problems and this time its been in there since November of last year and it is not up to our satisfaction, they call and say it's ready, I'm handicapped so its rather difficult for Me to go to Payson only to once find that repairs have bot been done.

      The issue started with the fact that Parris sells inferior products. I purchased a 2022 Bushwacker Plus. I was originally impressed with Parris as they replaced the water heater(leaked) and cleaned out the pump and water tank(had sawdust inside. can't imagine how this happened). On our second trip the water pump leaked and I had to have that repaired in the field. I ate the cost of that. Toward the end of the year, the interior began to fall apart. I sent seven photos to the manager at Parris in ******. They indicated that it had been 13 months since the purchase and the warranty was good only for ********************************** the product I requested a "buy-back". They offered 50% value which would allow them to make a profit after reselling. They did offer credit toward my unit if I purchased a different unit from them. While they talk very nice the reviews will clearly indicate you will be better off looking elsewhere for your RV needs. See other reviews on Yelp, not Parris's.

      I'm sorry you are not happy with the unit being out of warranty. The manufacture offers a 12 month warranty. Parris RV is not able to make decisions for the manufacture. We can and do fix anything approved by the manufacture during the warrantable period. The ******* Creek teardrop is a great trailer at a very low price. Parris RV has teardrops that are as much as 3 times more than the brand you chose. I believe it is a great value. We can offer you a trade value of the amount you have paid on trade for anything of equal or higher value. If you are simply looking to sell it going into winter the value is less than what a trade value is. You can always sell the unit yourself and get a higher amount. It is always worth more to a dealer or any other person at a higher value in the spring. What you are trying to say is you don't want the vehicle any longer and because it is out of warranty that Parris RV should buy it for a high price from you. This I don't agree with or even understand the thinking.

      We purchased a trailer for $11,143.00 (paid in full) from Parris RV on July 29th, 2022. We were told that they do a complete walk through of the trailer before we take it home. After driving 4 hours to UT, paying for and hooking up the trailer, as we're driving the 4 hrs home through a very mountainous terrain we discover there are no brakes on the trailer. We arrive home late Friday and wait until Saturday (7/30/22) to reach out to *****. He is busy, and we speak with **** the sales manager who speaks with the service manager about the brake issues and he told us to take it to a ******************* for a quote and they'd take care of it. We get it to ******************* early afternoon 7/30/22. They get a quote together and forward it to the dealership, letting us know that parts of the break are disintegrated and missing completely. We don't hear anything until 8/1/22 when **** calls back and says that the ** of Parris RV told him they'd only cover half the cost to "help us out" because they don't do brakes. After ******************* completes the job, we paid half of the cost and had to buy a new tire first, we're bringing the trailer home and realize the skin is coming off BOTH side walls of the trailer. We were sold an unsafe and unstructurally sound trailer, and when we told ***** we'd like to just bring it back and get our money back he stopped responding to our messages.

      I'm sorry you have had problems with the used trailer. The used trailer was sold AS-IS. You also signed and acknowledged that you knew the used trailer was AS-IS. With this said, I have no problem paying for the brakes to be fixed. The ** is correct. We make sure fridge, furnace, water, propane systems work. Which they do. It is very difficult to make a used trailer the same as a new one. This is why it was only 30% price of a new trailer. If you would like we can pay for your brakes, the trailer is a great trailer and will be great for camping. If you would like, we can take this on trade for any other trailer at any location and give you the full amount you spent on trade. All used trailers will have some problem though.
