Dropped my dog off for 9 boarding days. Was quoted $378 by the gal who set it up for me in person while I stood at the counter with my dog. Paid $45 as a deposit. When I picked my dog up today I was told the remaining amount due was $501.71. When I asked why the price had increased from from what I had been quoted, the gal said the first person must have made a mistake when quoting me. She reviewed the costs of everything, which did add up to $546.71, but Im concerned about being lied to up front and that others are being misled as well. I would like a refund for the difference in what I paid vs what I was quoted. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.Business response

Hello *******, I am so sorry you had a bad experience. In reviewing your information, your pup was not social and thus had to be moved over into our structured area. When making the reservation this was not clear. There is an additional $10/night for the structured lodging. This is due to the extra staff time that each structured dog gets during their stay with us. They get ball time, tug time, extra cuddles and hugs. This is due to the fact that they are not socializing with other dogs. The $10/night goes to pay for the extra time with staff. It also appears that you received a basic bath on your departure day. This too was not part of your estimate. I hope this all makes more sense.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I should have received the quoted price, as it was given to me by one of your employees. I understand your explanation, but I budgeted for the amount quoted to me at checkout and was not expecting to pay an additional $170.
