Dear Better Business Bureau, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent purchase I made from Campsaver. On April 12, 2024, I bought a new Gregory mountain backpack valued at $166.8. The order number for the item is ********, and the tracking number is *********************. Unfortunately, when it arrived at my address via international shipping on May 3, 2024, after being processed by the forwarding company on April 17, 2024, I discovered it was defective and unusable. Despite promptly contacting Campsaver's customer service, they informed me that they could not cover the cost of international return shipping. Instead, they only offered a 10% discount, which is insufficient to cover the extensive repair costs required. Furthermore, after consulting multiple repair technicians, it was determined that the defect can only be fixed at the factory, and I am unable to arrange for this. Despite sending several emails on May 5th, I have yet to receive a response from Campsaver. As a loyal customer, I expect better service and a resolution to this issue.
