We purchased a home from Nilson Homes in February 2021. Several times our exterior was mixed up with our neighbors leading to workers walking over our newly poured driveway. We have footprints in our driveway because of this. We immediately brought it to Nilson Homes attention & said we wanted it fixed. We were promised a new driveway several times during & after construction. We told Nilson Homes we wanted a written letter before closing stating they would replace the driveway, which they said they would provide. We then get a call stating we needed to do the final walkthrough the next day & close the following day due to a personal need of the superintendent. We showed up to closing & there was no letter. We asked for it but was told we HAD to close that day & would be getting the letter shortly after. "Due to the quick closing," they couldn't get the letter in time. Because Nilson Homes was so nice during most of the process, we believed them. We never got a letter. I called Lee the warranty manager at the time & had several conversations. He physically came to our house to look at the driveway stating we were owed a new one. He gave us the runaround, we need to wait until spring & other excuses. After no response, we were told by the warranty dept he was no longer employed there. We've tried contacting the warranty department & get ignored. I made comments on social media & privately messaged Nilson Homes with a response from almost a year ago stating there was a delay. I sent other messages through social media that have been seen by Nilson Homes with no response. I filed a complaint with BBB to get their attention but they focused on other warranty claims that I did not complain about. We also were never advised of a meeting that was held. They did come to our home & then came up with an excuse later that "they were at the wrong house." Joe who sold us our home, was standing on our property when my husband got a call from the warranty dept that a new driveway was approved.
