8/24/2022 I paid North Slope Builders LLC $1,287.50 to build a fireplace and mantle. I am seeking a refundfor the electrical work service paid for and not rendered along with the mantel that was unacceptable glued together 1x10’s. There was a verbal agreement to remove the mess of a mantle and provide a refund. The entire structure should be refunded. Every 2nd opinion and bid we received to fix it said to get refunded on the whole thing because they would have to demolish and redo the whole thing. Currently it has been demolished and almost redone. Costing much more than the original bid. We are simply asking for a refund on the electrical work that was not done and the mantle that was glued together 1x10’s. I paid to have paint they left on our floors removed I also paid to have the walls surrounding it repainted due to the crap left on them from being dirty. The whole thing was a mess. The closer we looked and saw as it was demolished and taken down, the more we realized they didn’t know what they were doing Brad and Charlie professional remodeling are demoing/taking down the whole thing and are redoing it. Their number is ###-###-####. We’ve been told incorrect materials used were thrown together unprofessionally. An example would be baseboards used for trim and the metal strips seen through paint. During the process North Slope Builders, LLC got paint on our floors and dirt/debris on the surrounding wall. This is not the first time North Slope Builders LLC has provided bad service and not responded to complaints.
