On 5/24, 10 days after we bought the house, the Regional Manager (US Renewable Energy) for Bakersfield, CA to Fresno, CA came by the house. He talked about not only installing a solar system but that it included replacement of all incandescent light with LED, tinting the outside of the windows, $100 incentive to change florescent lighting for recessed LED lighting, and a possible incentive for changing out the pool pump. He compared the previous owners' usage with our usage in AZ. Said they were a close match. He said a system with 18 panels and a battery wall would work well here. Also said the battery wall would supply electricity during a power failure (later found out it would not). In addition he said the system was designed so that there would not be a connect fee from Southern California Edison (SCE). This was not true as well. We told him that we preferred to buy the system and asked how much it would cost. He told us about $37,000 but that there was about an $8,000 Federal Tax Credit. He then started to convince us that we shouldn't spend the money on the system by saying, "What if you need the money to replace your HVAC, or you have a medical emergency. Being that I'm 70 and my partner, although younger, already has some health issues, we listened to his option. We thought $210 per month high and a yearly increase of 3.5% as well, but he still continued. We ended up signing an agreement. After the solar system was installed but not finalized, we realized that the payoff on the system was nearly 3 times the value. I tried reaching him to speak with him about buying the solar system and not continuing with the agreement. He would not return our calls, texts, or emails. We want to buy the system! We have the cash, we always had the cash and he just totally ignores us. I have tried reaching the headquarters as well as writing them. They do not respond. The system is still not operational, so effectively the agreement is not in effect as well.

I entered a contract with US Renewables in February 2023. The panels were installed around April. However, I was dissatisfied with the installation and asked for some changes. These changes were delayed and delayed until October 2023, when the company finally ghosted me. I have tried every method of contacting them, both the salesman and the company as a whole. They have completely disappeared, leaving me with an unfinished project.

We were sold a solar installation for our home June 3, 2023 by US Renewable Energy on behalf of EPo Energy/DR Electric Services. Since then, it appears that they have shifted company names to Eleanor Electric. Alex B**** & Nick B******** are names of specific people we have dealt with & they are also tied to complaints with Illinois Shines. US Renewable Energy also secured us financing for the project through Enium Capital Group & Genisys Credit Union totaling $44,400. No money has been paid yet. US Renewable Energy is currently suspended by the Illinois Shines program. Beyond the initial sale of the system, we have minimal correspondence with the folks mentioned above with a vast majority of the exchanges being text messages. We frequently get ignored or passed around to someone else who ignores our requests on when the work will be complete. They did come to install the feet that attach panels to our roof in November 2023 after numerous requests from them to get the project done so we could experience the tax credits & incentives offered by the state of Illinois, but they did not confirm they would be at our house & the feet installed do not match the panel layout we received at the time of the agreement. I assume that they have not continued the installation due to them being suspended by Illinois Shines but they have never shared this with us. When we discovered that they were suspended, we checked our credit & see an open loan balance of $11,100 (25% of the value). I dispute this amount as the amount is vastly overstated compared to the work in place & also believe that it will cost us money to remove the feet & repair the roof as I do not believe US Renewable Energy or any of the other companies associated with the complaint have any intention of coming to complete the work. Since finding out they are suspended we have not attempted correspondence with them.

Essentially we signed a contract to have solar panels installed on our home back in September of 2023, being told that they would be in touch about scheduling install. a month or 2 later we asked when they would be contacting us about install we were told by the end of of the year. at the beginning of the new year we contacted them to try and get them scheduled they told us March. April comes and no word. Its middle of June i have try every avenue to get in touch with someone about getting a copy of our contract to see if there were any conditions against cancelling, or even just to see if they were in breach by not getting panels installed i a timely manner. I tried calling the phone number on the website, i left a voicemail and nobody has ever called me back. I have tried emailing the email on the website and get a bounce back notice that they are not accepting emails. Tried calling every personal who has ever contacted us from the company and they don't have voicemail set up. Only way they communicate is through text and that is after sending many texts trying to get any information. the message i get back is ill look into that for you this afternoon then they ghost me. I don't know what else to do to get any kind of information. if you look at their google reviews my experience is very similar to other people. I just want out of this contract so i can sign with a different solar company who can complete our project in a timely manner. I have since canceled my loan as the funds have not yet been disbursed.

Signed contract with us renewable to install solar and pay for it with line of credit through enium capital in march of 2023 They said it would be installed within month. After dealing with Eleanor electric the installers that us renewable uses they finally came out to install in. September of 2023 The said due to pge and nem 2 that pto would take 30-45 days. Meanwhile enium dispersed all money including 18k that was included in loan to buyout our first solar on house into one loan. In December of 2023 along with several messages between they finally got the money wire paperwork to us and sent back. Installers said pto would be soon and kept blaming pge for delays. In mid January 2024 we still Haven’t received our money or pto contacted pge they said they havent heard from installers since July 2023 and need permit signed off to issue pto. We contacted building department and they had no records of installers pulling any permits in area. We applied for permit hoping to at least get pto. Inspector came out said the installation doesn’t match plans and it’s not installed correctly. Had another electrician come look he said we need full main panel Upgrade as Eleanor electric was attempting to send more solar to panel then code allows Approx $5k to fix all the issues to pass inspection. All this was passed along to enium/us renewable and Eleanor electric in February 2024 they all have failed to even call back. Meanwhile we have been paying on the loan and paying power bill that the solar was supposed to cover

We signed up for Solar panels on 3/4/23. The install date was set for July2023. We had no communication unless we reached out. They did not install in July. We do have a lien and loan for $8,000 on our credit report. No communication about missing July dates. We have reached out monthly and have been told each time next month it will be installed. We have gone through several Project Managers and contact. It was suppose to be installed in November and someone came out to install clips. Then it was December. During that time the application from Ameren was sent to us and we paid $300 for it. They didn’t complete it and we were out another $300. They said they would refund that amount and planned to install in January. In January they needed another reading of our meter and to complete another Ameren application. We said a hard date that it needed to be installed by February or we contacting and attorney to get out of this. They missed February dates and we found out the Project Manger we were working with no longer consulting for Eleanore Electric/Epo Energy. Please reach out to them directly @ ************. This has been a terrible experience and when we first signed up in March 2023 they said they were BBB verified and they are not.

May 5, 2023 we signed a contract with US Renewable Energy for solar panels. They contracted with EPO Energy (filed another complaint against that business) for the installation. EPO was to draw against a line of credit that was established in our name for the project as they completed various phases of the project, e.g. ordering supplies, etc.. We were told by Scott S******, salesman for US Renewable, that installation would likely occur around September but may be impacted by supply chain, weather, number of jobs, and various other factors. We were provided with an online portal to monitor the progress of the job. In October, after not hearing from either company, I logged into the portal, but was not able to get any information. I reached out to Mr. S****** and he indicated that EPO Energy did not use the portal, but since they were drawing on the line of credit that meant the project was moving forward. Mr. S****** also provided phone numbers for Samantha our project manager and Alex the lead engineer on our project. As he indicated things were moving forward, I did not reach out. On January 16th, following no further communication, and forgetting that he had provided the other numbers, I reached out to Mr. S****** again. He started a text message with myself and two other people specifically referring to "Alex". "Alex" replied back on January 17th indicating he would have someone call me back that day. I have heard nothing else since. I can only believe EPO Energy and US Renewable Energy are running one or more scams.

On March 4, Enzo C******** of this company came to my door to sell me solar energy. After a well done presentation, I agreed to sign on with this company. Installation was scheduled for March 17, and it was cancelled that day. After speaking with Alex B**** the next day, it was rescheduled to March 23. The installers came a day early and tried to hassle a person here to allow them to install anyway - I was not at home. I came very close to cancelling, but on the 23rd installers came and installed panels. Since then, no one from the company has activated my system. I have reached out to the company in June, where they sent a technician to determine that my system would be in working order (that was not what I was asking) and in October. Both of those times was with Mr. C********. In October Mr. C******** told me to give him four weeks and he would activate the system himself, as he was being trained on how to do it. I have emailed Mr. C******** multiple times since November 11 and have not gotten a reply. I did speak with a helpful gentleman from Enerflo, which is a company that provides software support for the company. He referred me, after having done some checking on my case, to Enium, which is the finance company that US Renewable Energy uses for its sales. I reached out to Hazel R******** at Enium with the contact information given to me by Enerflo, and she sent me a link to file a complaint. I have not heard back from Enium either. The roof was new when the panels were put on it. I want the company to come remove the panels and to replace the roof that has been scarred by the installation process.
