Failure to diagnose and unethical practice of putting good parts on bad engine before professional diagnosis. Failure to repair car in an engine exchange ( bad engine for good used) as all oil leaked out on first high speed (400 mile) highway run resulting in a destroyed engine and junked car. Deception on warranty- pretend there is no warranty on the engine and or work performed when there is actually one, and then proceed to reveal there is a warranty in a card dispute (dishonest/deceptive practice) Failure to provide invoices for parts and labor and for signed authorization. Failure to show new parts, old parts pulled out, and give option for customer to take old parts, leading to potential defrauding of the customer. (How does customer know the shop did the job if they are not allowed to see any of the work, could be just old parts or cheap junkyard parts put in instead of new parts being charged for). Failure to hook up the car to emissions machine for emissions test and issuing a pass test on paper to the customer. Credit card fraud- stealing money that is unknown to the customer and unauthorized. Causing consequential damages for additional repairs that were done with repair to the engine and defective/worn external parts. Fail to correctly find (diagnose) and replace worn/defective parts to on the engine and surrounding external parts (lubricating, cooling, electrical ignition systems) as per standard used engine warranty requirements. And Incorrect installation of parts leading to engine damage and breakdown. Failure to notify customer of worn/defective engine and external parts per used engine warranty requirements or advise on correcting such risks. Failure to take responsibility, financial, service, or otherwise and violating regulations and norms of an auto repair shop, defrauding customers. Creating resulting conditions for hardship, pain, suffering, distress to customers.

On Mar 15th 2021, I contacted Japanese Auto Repair and asked for an engine replacement for my Infiniti G37x. Japanese Auto Repair (JAR) explained that the engine they had found had 63K miles and was $1,925.50. Labor was specified at $1,300.00 or $162.50/hr for an 8 hour job. On Mar 16 2021 I paid AM/PM towing $142.00 to tow my vehicle to JAR. Shortly after my vehicle arrived, I arrived, to make a deposit of $3,000.00 so that they can start working on my car. Expecting to pay the rest when I pick up the vehicle. Before handing the cash to the man I informed him to please call me when the engine arrives and that if the engine is missing any important parts to please allow me to provide them. Total allotted $3,142.00. On around Mar 20th 2021 the engine arrived at his shop and I visited to inspect the engine. Visually inspecting it thoroughly, noting my cars subframe was completely disassembled next to it. (front suspension, engine carriage) The first red flag came when I asked him to confirm the mileage on the motor and he replied with about 76K miles which is 13K miles more than what he told me it was firstly. I gave JAR the benefit of the doubt and ignored it. like I said I asked that he would call me when they started to need things like Oil, Coolant, Gaskets, etc. they never did, in fact 3 weeks later when they finally told me it was ready they hit me with a $1100 bill with surprise things they said the motor needed and replaced without informing me. After receiving car I learned that a 24mm brake caliper mounting bolt was not reinstalled afterwards and put me at significant risk of killing myself. On top of such, the car stopped running a month later and JAR refused to offer any sort of solution or warranty leaving me out of what ended up being $4100. Due to certain evidence that I posses, I believe JAR had cut corners on my job and I seek help in pursuing resolution. This story continues, 2000 characters is not enough to explain the damage JAR has caused me.
