Hi, I’m a costumer of chatbooks. In october 21 of 2023 I reached out to Chatbooks to finish my monthly subscription and to ask them to stop charging $12 dollars. It’s impossible to cancel your account through the Chatbooks account. They really make it difficult for you. I sent an email to its support team and I never got any answer. They still charging me $12 dollars a month. I’m requesting the immediate cancellation of this service and the refund of the money I paid since I requested the cancellation of the service, 19/21/2023.Initial Complaint

I ordered a photo book from Chatbooks January 15 2024. My mother in law gifted me a subscription for a year to this company. I have never received the book. The company says its due to my local post office. Theyve reshipped twice to my address and then asked for an alternate address which I gave them. None of the shipments have arrived. I asked for a refund to my mother in law and they said no because it was a gift subscription but then can give me a credit. Anything I buy from them never shows up, I dont want a credit. My mother in law paid for a good that was never delivered. That is unlawful. They need to issue a refund.Initial Complaint

I ordered personalized Christmas cards from the Chatbooks mobile app, and paid a rush shipping fee which alone was pretty hefty. At arrival of product, the photos on the cards were noticeably darker, grainier, and some were also very blurry. The printed photos were not at all like the photos I had uploaded, and the proof in the app did not show these differences or alert at any resolution problems. I contacted Chatbooks, and their text message customer service contacted me back. I asked what could be done, but did not indicate what kind of resolution they would offer. They asked me for pictures of the cards. The rep agreed that the printed pictures were indeed much darker than my original files, but refused to talk about the graininess or blurring. They offered a reprint of the cards to fix the darkness, and again ignored my issues with graininess & blurring. I declined a reprint unless they could guarantee the reprints would not have the graininess or blurring that they kept refusing to acknowledge. I have since had no response in 2 full days to that last message. I would like a refund. The total with shipping was $63.59. (The shipping alone was $24.99.)Initial Complaint

I started a subscription with Chatbooks and purchased two photo book so far. My March book printed and the cover cut my photo off so one of the subjects cannot be seen. When I noticed that it looked off, I reached out to Chatbooks via text and they responded by sending me a pdf file of how my photos would print and everything looked ok. However, when I received the book, the photo was in fact cut off. I reached out to Chatbooks again via text and did not receive a response.
