SCAM ALERT!!Feb 18,2021 I was setting up a new Roku that I obtained a few years ago. I while setting it up I set up my ******* and then attempted my Amazon account. I was having a hard time getting logged in. One half of the screen had where you take a picture of the icon and then it will take you where you put in the code shown then it was supposed to just log you in. That was not working. The other side of the screen wanted you to log in to amazon.com/mytv to where you are to put in the code and then it would work. It locked my account and said if I was having troubles to call the number on the screen. I called with the foreign man helped me get my account to work. Then he proceeded to tell as of December 2020 Amazon prime no longer will be doing the yearly renewal and since I had too many Amazon devices I needed to sign up for a 3 year, 5 year, or lifetime Amazon Prime account. He new all my information my last 4 numbers on my care and expiration date. I kept asking him was this Amazon Prime and he said yes. I asked him at least 5 times. I agreed to sign up for the lifetime. He said the transaction would be under Global Connection Network. He told me my credit card would deny the charge and to accept the charge which I did. He wanted me to sign a contract telling me the whole contract would be sent to me. I tried to log in to my Amazon account and said my password was no longer good. They were trying to help reset my password. I later called Amazon to verify all this and found out none of the this was true and there was no such thing as lifetime Amazon Prime. Credit card company gave me a phone number to call to see if the company will give me a refund. This is the same number on the contract. I called but the number said call can not be completed.
