I have a friend that is staying at the days inn here in Richfield, UT. She asked if I could call and pay for one night so I did. One charge of $66.28 was taken out on 11-12-2021 which I agreed to. Since than they have charged my card $271.83 on 11-12 2021. $132.56 on 11-13-2021 and $66.28 on 11-15-2021. I have called and talked to the manager of the hotel, told him my situation and he assured me that he would cancel all transactions other than the first one I agreed to of $66.28 on 11-12-2021. I have never stayed at this hotel, I simply called in and payed for a room for a "friend" and now they won't stop charging my card. The charges are pending but my money is basically frozen. I called my bank and told them these were not approved. I was told my the by the manager of this hotel, I forget the gentleman's name that he would cancel the charges but yet my card got charged today. I agreed to the one time charge on 11-12-2021 and that was it. Whatever there issue is with what she owes is not my problem. I was just trying to help out a friend. Thank you for your help.
