I called 3/10/21 & got put on the very long waitlist to have my son attend. I got a call 11/2021 offering me a spot for 2 days a week. I let them know that we need 5 days & I asked that they keep us on the waitlist. 1/2022 my husband called to make sure we were still on the waitlist and they confirmed we were. 2/8/22, we get a call offering 3 days a week to start immediately or we can select 5 days a week starting 8/22/22. We opted for 5 days a week starting 8/22/22. I immediately paid our deposit to reserve the spot & got confirmation email on February 9, 2022 that he was registered & enrolled to start this month. Email today "On Thu, Aug 11, 2022, 5:31 PM Blooming Minds Montessori [email protected] wrote: Dear ***** & *****, We regret to inform you that there has been a mistake on our end with ******'s enrollment. We have gotten a new system and in the system he was active but not set as enrolled in the classroom. Which meant his enrollment got lost and he was not showing up on our rosters so we over enrolled the classroom. This happened to the last 4 enrolled children which includes ****** and we unfortunately do not have a spot for him to start on August 22nd. We will refund everything you have paid and we can have him at the top of the waitlist if you would like to go back on the waitlist. We are so deeply sorry for this mistake, we take full responsibility and hope we can get ****** a spot in the program as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding and again apologize. Thank you, Blooming Minds Montessori Administration ". I frantically start calling, praying this is a mistake. They refuse to answer my calls. I'm literally in tears right now. They've given me 10 days to find childcare (I say 10 because its so late in the day now that I can't even try to call around now). How can this be? There's clearly been another mistake. We can't be one of the last 4 people to enroll. We've been on the waitlist a year and 5 months! I'm devastated.
