The Franchise of Massage envy at the address provided has processed a payment and has taken advantage of my 75 year old grandmother. She had moved to Farmington, NM and was told the only way she could continue to use her credits was to be a current member. This information is false as you have 60 days from the end of the original 1 year contract to use them. Unknown to her the St. George, UT office signed her up for another one year contract which she cannot get out of. She did not sign any paperwork for the renewal and did not give her consent. Now a elderly woman on a now fixed income is having to pay a $50 a month fee. Numerous calls have been made to the St. George location with no resolution. They have taken advantage of an elderly person and will not refund the money nor allow her to cancel the membership, which she did not sign up for. I am sure there is some sort of law in Utah about taking advantage of the elderly. I want the have them refund her the money and honor the original obligation that they withheld when she called. At this point this situation is causing a large financial burden to where she is having issues even buying groceries.
