I have a bernedoodle, who gets very fuzzy due to his coat. He gets brushed daily, bathed weekly and get oil in every meal to help keep his coat soft and clean. I took my dog in here to be groomed thinking it would be a normal thing for them. I knew he had a few mattes on his back that I wanted them to get from his harness but I asked them not to cut around any private areas as he has sensitive skin. When I went to pick him up they had me pay first. They brought him out and said he had a small hot spot but it would go away quickly. I didn’t check because my pup needed to use the bathroom so I left quickly to get him outside. When we got to the car he was whining and nipping at his legs and private areas. I checked and he was black and purple from bruising, raw skin that had white blood cells oozing out of it, and everywhere else was fire engine red. I ended up having to take him to the vet and get an antibiotic cream to put on the spots. When I called the business to tell them what happened and ask for a refund, they told me it was my fault. “You didnt brush or take care of your dog, otherwise he wouldn’t matte.” I eventually got to speak with the owner who told me “we probably should of called you or talked to you about it after, I’m sorry about the vet bills but we didn’t do anything wrong.” Photos attached are after 3 days of treatment
