My husband and I rented a trailer through Outdoorsy and, separately, booked a campsite for 5 days (October 10 - 15, 2021) at *************** Campground. When we booked the campsite, we added Worry-Free Booking. We picked up the trailer, drove to the coast and spent the night October 10th. When we woke up there had been a major water leak and the floor was wet, so we packed up and checked out of the campsite on October 11 since we couldn't stay with water everywhere and no way to fix the problem. On October 12 I filed a refund request for the four days we were unable to stay at the campground using the link sent to us through ***************. The refund team said they would not pay since the provider had cancelled. In fact, Outdoorsy cancelled our trailer rental and returned our money in full. Separate from Outdoorsy, the campground was not the one that cancelled AND we paid for Worry-Free Booking when booking the campsite. The refund team suggested I try their Red Carpet customer service and sent me the link. I talked to a customer service representative at *********************** on the morning of October 15 and she said she would check into the situation. I did not receive a call back from her that day. On October 16 I called the Red Carpet customer service again and spoke with another representative. She got back to me and said there was nothing they could do because a third party provided my Worry-Free Booking. I replied that she should send me another application for a refund and also let her know that I was worried that their third party also had my banking information. I have not received anything else from them and am out $212 for the four nights we were unable to stay at the campsite due to a mechanical breakdown on the vehicle we had rented from another entity. We recently have transition our refund service and our staff did provide the wrong information. We have emailed the customer and will provide the refund as soon as possible.
