Libery sent a technician to my home to diagnose a problem with my refrigerator, the ice maker was not working. Technician said the ice maker was bad. I had to pay $267.42 to order parts. Two weeks later, with parts, technician returned to my home and installed ice maker and I paid remaining $267.41. This new part did not solve the issue, still not making ice. I contacted Liberty Appliance for the 3rd time and they scheduled the technician to return. Once technician returned and stated the new ice maker was faulty. I insisted that it was not because it had power, would function, water was dispensed to ice maker yet, ice would not freeze. Technician diagnosed that the ice maker was not the problem but found a Freon Leak in the Freezer portion near the temperature sensor. Technician retrieved the new ice maker and said i would receive a refund minus the $75.00 trip charge. To date I've not received a refund. I called today and spoke to receptionist that stated no refund until the technician confirmed my statement. I asked for a call back to ensure refund issue is resolved and receptionist disconnected the phone. I called back and asked for manager or supervisor yet, receptionist stated she is only at the company and refused to give manager or supervisors contact information.
