We contracted with Absolute Awnings on 6/4/21 to manufacture and install an awning on our back porch. Measurements were taken and a contract was signed. We were told to expect our awning around the middle of July 21. I understand that the pandemic caused some problems, but the install date kept being pushed back later and later. Long story short, after much communication on the delays, awning was finally installed on March 22. I spoke numerous times with Charles about the delay and lack of use during the summer months. I asked for a discount on the price, but he said no. Awning gets installed in March, and the installers tell me i'll get the final bill in the mail soon. I don't get the final payoff in the mail but do get it in an email. I'm old school, and like bills in paper form so I can track them. This week I get a certified letter from a **** lawyer stating this bill is now in collections and an additional 500.00 added to the bill. That's my complaint.
