I was being put on a cpap machine, their representative called me and told me that I would have to pay 114 dollars first then 20 dollars a month for 10 months then it is mine paid for. I went there to figure out which one I needed and again told 114 then 20 a month for 10 months. They ordered my machine, showed me how to use it and took my 114 and said again 20 a month for ten months and I have the itemized receipt for everything I got, mask, machine etc. Then about 2 or 3 weeks later I get a bill for 504 dollars, I call billing and they said that their representatives shouldn't have told me what they told me I owe, that the mask and accessories were extra . (even though listed on the receipt I have). Ended up paying it. By this time I'm out of pocket on my insurance, Alpine messages me for a resupply, which insurance will cover, Alpine takes 56 dollars from my credit card. I call them they said it's their policy to take money then return it when insurance pays, finally got it back. They told me I had a 200 dollar credit with them, But they didn't take money from it to pay, being out of pocket, I finally convinced them to give it back , took a while. Then another resupply, again took money, but never returned it, called, they said yes they owe me money, after a few weeks, money not back and having to call week after week, they said they would mail me a check, that was over two months ago, still have not received it. I was put with a person in charge named *****, who gave me her number, but she wouldn't answer or respond to messages left, I was only calling once a week not all the time. It's been over 4 months and they still keep saying it's been approved, but can't confirm it has actually been put in the mail. Absolute nightmare from day one and still going on. Will never use their business, will be sure to tell anyone who'll listen, beware.

I had to do an overnight at home sleep study. I was told it was $80, $40 for the test and a $40 deposit which would be refunded when I returned the device. I was not told I would be charged $40 per day that I had the device. I live 30 minutes away. It is not convenient, but if I had known I was going to be charged $40 a day I would have brought it back the next day. Management should make sure their employees make this clear to customers. I have a $360 bill now.

Terrible service. I had an oxygen concentrator for over two years with alpine. I was very nieve and didnt know there were filters in the machine that needed to be replaced frequently. And hoses that needed to be replaced regularly. Recently I had to be put on oxygen 24/7 . My lungs have been compromised and now Ill be on oxygen for the rest of my life. For all intents and purposes Im trapped in my apartment because the small canister only lasts for about an hour maybe a little longer if Im close to home. They do offer a portable concentrator but its the Inogin and they are very expensive and ******** doesnt pay for them. Alpine charges $250.00 a WEEK. I sure dont have that kind of money. Then Im told I have to stay with Alpine for five years before I can change. I worked hard and paid into the system for years only to be forced to give up living while Im still alive. I had to miss Thanksgiving with my children and Christmas isnt going to be any better. Thanks for nothing alpine . I hope the people at the top of alpines food chain have nightmares that they wake up screaming to every single night and I hope Im the one they are really frightened of seeing.

Switched to Apline for oxygen needs a few months ago. They were great at first, came right out. Soon however it became clear that bringing us oxygen was going to be an issue. 13 days ago I called because we were running low on cans. They started telling me they can't deliver anymore. I asked if a manager could call so I can explain that it would be 2.5 hours round trip and my daughter can't be away from her machines for that long right now. Today I got down to my last can so I called again. The local number puts me through to a general call center. They say they are emailing the manager in our local store but I explain that I was already told that and it's been over 2 weeks so I'm going to need a solution today now. They put me on hold for 40 minutes, then told me they are having "manager problems" and there's nothing more I could do. I asked if there is a general manager I could speak with since the local isn't getting back to me. They said no. They said if I run out of oxygen, just call 911. That's all I can do! Best in the state since 2009 my eye!

Absolutely terrible experience with Alpine Home Medical in Ogden. My elderly father in law purchased his super expensive wheel chair from them and we were told it would have a “lifetime guarantee” through them. Well… let me just say that I have been contacting them for a month because it stopped working completely and he relies on it 100% of the time for mobility. When he is not sleeping, he is in his chair. It wouldn’t even turn on and after around 20 phone calls and repeated left messages that were supposedly tagging the manager I have not even received a call back to help him get this fixed. i finally paid someone privately to fix his wheelchair and we paid out of pocket to get his chair fixed. After an entire month I wasn’t able to even get an appt to get his chair fixed?!?!?! Do NOT trust them with important items your loved ones desperately need! We will NEVER buy anything from them again. It should never take 20 phone calls from a business in an emergency! No call back, no care, no concern!

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! Worst company Ive ever worked with. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Our baby was in the **** and had to come home on oxygen. We only needed the oxygen for 3 weeks. I called to have them come pick up the oxygen and they couldnt pick it up for over two weeks. Then the driver says he tried to pick it up, but both my husband and I were home and didnt hear anything. We asked them to come back to pick it up and they refused. I tried reaching out multiple times with no response. Then when I called in a few days later they told me I will be charged an additional month. I tried to fight the charge and the best the billing rep could do was to leave a voicemail with her boss, they would not let me speak to anyone higher up. She pretty much told me there was nothing I could do to combat the charge. If I didnt pay wed be sent to collections. This company plays on the vulnerability of patients in order to make more money for themselves. DO NOT USE

The did a bait and switch when it came to a breast pump. They gathered my insurance card, made me wait 4 days as they "called" my insurance to see what they would cover. We were told by alpine medical the insurance coveted the breast pump. 2 months later I get a bill for $350. Our insurance didn't cover any of it. Why get insurance cards if they aren't even going to call and find out if breast pumps are covered under our plan. I'm ****** and will never use their company ever again!

Hello,Alpine Home Medical did verify breast pumps are covered under this patient's policy, the claim for the breast pump was denied with the reason of "Benefit Maximum for this time period or occurrence has been reached." This means that their insurance claims to have paid for another breast pump too recently to pay for another. This is not information Alpine would have access to during the eligibility process. If they believe this denial to be incorrect, please follow up with the insurance. We have brought this to their attention as well but have not received a reprocessed Explanation of Benefits. Thank you,

Oxygen nazi's is what I call them. Too many phone calls threatening to bill me instead of my insurance because my provider was slow to give new prescription for Oxygen. The only way to get oxygen from my machine is thru the water bottle but they said I don't have prescription for bottles just the machine. Constantly asking me to do online review after every time I interact with them. Telling me they have full oxygen tanks for me to come and get then I drive 25 miles and no tanks. Please chose any oxygen supplier.

Hello! Oxygen therapy is a regulated service. Without an active prescription for Oxygen we are unable to provide services, much less bill your insurance for you. The equipment related to that therapy also requires specific prescriptions to provide to you, as well as your insurance requires it for payment. For this reason, we tend to be urgent in getting the needed documentation and appreciate your support in acquiring it! I apologize for the miscommunication in regards to the tanks. I advise you contact the branch directly to confirm stock prior to making the drive. We do our best to keep a healthy stock but many factors affect availability.

Unfortunately, we do not delivery shower chairs. We will not service this customer due to him being rude and abusive on the phone to many staff members.
