I had a bill come in, first statement I got. I called about it and found out I had a bigger bill. I had them check to make sure all my insurance informs was on there. I had to call in several times a to have my address changed to the correct one. On March 22 I get a text from them saying they don’t have my right address. I have tired to work with them but no one is doing what I tell them to do. I asked about setting up monthly payments and tell me I have to pay in four months. I go online and it lets me do 11 plus months on it. Also they have told me in correct information, they told me if any of the medical bills they have go into collection that it wouldn’t hurt my credit score. I’m not even sure at this point what is on my account or what information they have because I get told it’s taken cared of but then get text saying they need more information that I gave to them weeks ago.

I am dissatisfied with the billing practices of ******* *********** System, LLC (Salt Lake Regional Medical Center's parent company) stemming from my experience visiting their radiology department last year. While checking in for my appointment on 9/15/22, I was presented with an estimate for the portion of the bill not covered by my insurance. I was told I needed to pay at least half. In good faith, I paid the full amount which was over $400.30 days later, when I got my insurance statement, I realized that I had over paid Salt Lake Regional by over $100. I tried to confirm this by logging into my billing account on ******* Health's website, but it simply reflected a zero-balance due. I was forced to call ********* billing department on 9/16/23, and they quickly acknowledged I had a credit on my account. I formally requested that ******* send me a refund for the credit. I was told it could take "6-8 weeks."I finally received the refund check today, 1/20/23. The check was printed on 1/10/23.It took ******* Health 83 days from the date I made the request to actually process my refund. That was 117 days after I paid them. In that same time period, they have never sent me a statement of any kind. I can only wonder if they would have issued the refund at all if I hadn't identified the over-payment on my own. I have no doubt that they would have sent me multiple invoices if I'd owed them money instead.****** learned. In the future, I will NEVER pay ******* Health a ***** more than the minimum due. I no longer trust ******* Health to deal in good faith and return money they aren't owed in a timely manner.
