My healthcare plan clearly specifies that the first five visits require no copay. Moreover, the services are provided by Kaiser hospital. However, Kaiser has sent me bills for procedures claiming that they are not covered under the plan. When I asked for details, the Kaiser bills revealed that they charged me multiple times for the same service. Considering that both Kaiser and the insurance company are under the same umbrella, the insurance should be negotiating these charges with the hospital. There is a lack of transparency in the charges, and the doctor has confirmed that these charges should be covered by the insurance. The claim number is **************, and my member number is *********. To make matters worse, Kaiser sold the bill to USCB, a debt collection company, without conducting a proper investigation. I request an investigation into these billing charges and urge them to cease selling my information to USCB and other third parties for financial gain.
