Hello,I recently moved into one of the companies apartment complexes(The Coves at Yale Memphis, TN) about 4 months ago. Given they did not repaint my walls prior to move in, left a rusted toilet seat and toilet paper roll with rusted nails, the counter tops are uneven, a crack is in my bathroom window, loose wall sockets, and there are reoccurring electrical issues etc. I am highly upset because I am being bullied and harassed into paying a charge in which I should not be responsible for. To summarize the incident, shortly after moving in, I had some of my furniture items sitting in my kitchen in which one item was my bed post. My bed post accidentally fell into the kitchen window knocking a hole into a squared portion of it. I was notified by the property manager regarding the window. I asked for permission to get fixed in which I did have scheduled to be fixed with email proof of them agreeing to me having this repaired myself. However, although we made an agreement, there was a window repairman sent to my door in which I refused services because I had already set an appointment. The property manager showed to my door and attempted to force the repair on me and later billed me a $75 charge for a “roll out fee”. Again, I did not request or agree to their contractor coming out for repairs along with the agreement of me having this repaired myself. I did reach out to corporate in which I was handled in a rude disrespectful manner with no resolution. Instead I have been harassed into paying this $75, revoked the option to pay my rent online at one point and now the charges are being disguised as multiple other charges on my account. I’m am fed up and I do not appreciate the hostility they are creating for my living environment with the harassment and bullying. I am not sure who I turn to at this point with the given circumstances.
