My car has needed a new transmission for 3 months now and I still don't have one. They refused to let me take my car to the mechanic I want because they switched their "preferred" shop to Pleasant Grove which is over 40 miles from my house. Both shops and I called and all but begged to no avail. They lied to me saying the warranty company was refusing to allow it, but the shop and warranty company both said it's the discretion of the dealership. I finally agreed to take it to their shop and now they are refusing to pay for the transmission the shop wants to use. They are telling the shop to put in literally the cheapest transmission with 75k miles and only 60 day warranty against their own shop's advice AND refusing to give the shop the claim number. My car has been sitting at the shop for 2 weeks now and I still don't have a resolution or anything close to one and the price of the rental is coming out of my pocket.
