    Maple Leaf has been our property management company for our home in Utah for 13 years since my family moved out of state. They have consistently lied to both tenants and us and have not properly cared for the home. We notified Maple Leaf on Oct. 3, 2023 that we were terminating our contract with them. Our tenants paid November rent to Maple Leaf and Maple Leaf has not transferred the money to us. Amount owed for November rent is $2,300. Chris, the owner of Maple Leaf, is ignoring telephone calls and emails. We have also decided to manage the house ourselves. Maple Leaf has been notified that the security deposits that the tenants paid should also be transferred to us. This is an additional $2,250. I have spoken with tenants and confirmed that November rent and security deposits were paid to Maple Leaf. Total amount due from Maple Leaf is $4,750.

    Mapleleaf is quite possibly the worst run business in ****. There was absolutely no safety or maintenance inspection on the property before move in, which we were only informed about ONE DAY before the lease term started. We were sent a lease to sign at ten the night before our move in day, and instructed to get it back to them within thirty minutes if we wanted to be able to move in. This, of course, following a month of pleading with them for a response so we could get our affairs in order. They approved terms with us that were never run by the owner. We went multiple years without smoke detectors, a mold issue, and broken AC and Furnace units. Under **** law, we were living in inhabitable conditions, none of which Mapleleaf cared about at all. They are impossible to get in touch with, even with multiple repair requests and emails spanning over more than a year. They double charged the owner of the house, as well as us as tenants for the same crappy repairs they did, and have still not returned our money. Additionally, they opted to take the owners money and complete a low- quality "renovation", if you can even consider it that. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE!!
