Holmes Homes is the builder of my personal residence. We moved into the home a little less than a year ago. I contacted the warranty department to schedule an appointment to come out to my house to look at some items under warranty that needed to be fixed. An employee of Holmes Homes named Alan came out to my house and my wife and I showed him the things that needed to be fixed. He indicated the process normally takes one to two weeks. I reached out to Holmes Homes and Alan numerous times over the next month or so because none of the warranty items had been fixed or scheduled to be fixed. I finally got hold of Alan after numerous attempts and he told me he needed to research the matter. He called me back later and indicated that a "mistake" had been made and none of the subcontractors had been contacted. Mind you this is after approximately a month. Alan then did contact some of the subcontractors and some of the work has been completed. This is after numerous phone calls, e-mails, and text messages that went unanswered. This behavior is completely unprofessional. This is where we're at now. It's been approximately two months since first contact and I still need subcontractors to come out to my house to paint the dining room ceiling and reseal the shower that has a crack in it. I've reached out to Alan several times just this week alone with no response...not that I'm surprised. This is beyond frustrating and I want the job done. If Holmes Homes cares about their reputation, then they'll also compensate me for wasting my time contacting them repeatedly over the last several months. Just do your job!!!Initial Complaint

Date of the problem found 10.16.2021 1. A Price increase that should have been given to us. 2. Charged for an elevation that shouldn't have been charged. 3. The floor plan that we signed for and the city are not the same, so they have used their blueprint incorrectly which is giving us something we did not sign for. Holmes homes has numerous discrepancies, and we are truly not wanting to accept their pressure. We are seaking for the plan we signed for with compensation for our time since this causes a bigger delay.
