June 3, 2023 I hired ****** at Sparkling Sisters Cleaning to clean a townhome for me before a new Tenant moved in. She agreed to $30 per hour. The home was not extremely dirty. ******, the owner, insisted I pay her on Venmo ahead of time. She assured me they would clean very good and said they always pay attention to details. She texted me and said she had completed all of the list I gave her, and claims to have cleaned for 5 hours. She specifically said they cleaned the back patio which needed to be swept and she had agreed to use a dish-soap or other effective cleaner and brushes to clean. I went there and checked it as soon as they left. I took photos to show what I found. They didn't hardly clean at all and the place was dirty. I swept piles of dirt and junk from the hard floors. The back patio had dirt on it and obvisouly hadn't been swept for a long time. It had a large rug, which hadn't even been moved, which when I lifted it up, there were small leafs and old grass clippings and dirt etc under it. The back porch was bone dry and hadn't been touched. The front porch was dirty also, so I had to sweep it. They hadn't even touched inside the fridge or inside drawers or cupboards. I texted ****** the photos and explained my findings. She said she had been there and it was clean. She volunteered to refund my money and was angry and blaming things on me. She again insisted she had cleaned the back porch and done all of the list. I disagreed and explained I had other people who saw it as well as the photos and they couldn't have spent much time at all cleaning there, and for sure not 5 hours. She started telling me how they were giving me a huge discount anyway, and then said she would only give me a partial refund. I asked for a full refund several times. She refused, and now has not refunded me anything at all. This is a company in **** that should not be operating. The owner obviously lies and charges for time not really in services and does not clean like they say they did.
