Purchased 1st Motor on 11/23/2022 - This motor crapped out and they used the warranty to send us another motor, however we had to spend $350 in shipping fees for the original motor and for the warranty motor. The 2nd motor that we got from warranty didn't even make it through the break in period and apparently the warranty did not carry over to this motor. The 2nd motor is having valve and piston issues. My husband called on March 30th, 2024, to see if something could be done and was told that we would have to spend another $4,000 to buy a new motor because the 2nd motor never had a warranty. When I called 4/8/2024 and asked to speak to someone higher up than customer service Jack the agent I had dealt with told me he would do some digging and call me within 2 hours.. this did not happen I called him 4 hours after our original call and got the same answers that I had told him over the phone and was told I couldn't speak to anyone higher that he had to relay a message to them. Called the morning of 4/9/2024 and asked to speak with someone higher up preferably the owners to get this matter resolved and was told that the owners are never on sight nor do they talk with customers and a ticket was put in for a manager to call me. A manager called me a little later and said that we could buy a rebuild and that they are at the point of this is the only thing that needs to be done and if we want to take legal action to go ahead because there is nothing the company will do despite us receiving 2 faulty engines and 2 defective transmissions and not even receiving all the parts for the transmission its self, we had to constantly call and ask for missing parts to be shipped.

This engine was purchased and shipped 12/16/22.  As per our warranty policy, each engine has a 1 year warranty from purchase.  There is not a way for us to independently verify mileage on an engine or transmission so we do have to go with a time period for our warranty.  Our warranty is one of the longest in the industry to make sure our customers are taken care of.  Most other warranties are 90 days up to 6 months max.  In July 31, 2023, the customer notified us that the engine had locked up.  We did bring the engine back in for warranty to correct the issue and sent it back to the customer in August 2023.  The customer's warranty expired December 20, 2023 and we did not hear from them in-between when they received the warranty engine until March 2024.  Mr. F*** called us on March 20, 2024 to ask what his options were as he is now needing another repair.  We did inform him that his warranty expired 3 months prior but he could purchase a rebuild service which is less expensive than purchasing a new engine and we could help him that way.  As stated, we do have a 1 year warranty to make sure our customers are taken care of but the customer has contacted us outside of the warranty period.  We also have a 1 year warranty on our parts.  The customer did purchase parts in February 2023 and we did a warranty of them in June 2023 and have not heard from them regarding the parts until Ms. F*** called in on April 8, 2024.  At this time, parts are outside of the 1 year warranty as well. If the customer would like to take advantage of the rebuild service, we would be happy to help them.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The motor didn’t even make it through the break in period before the warranty expired due to the length of the time we had the first motor we purchased from you. There was no way for us to even prove that the 2nd motor was even going to last which it failed. The transmission we got from you exploded on its self and when we had to warranty that out we were told it was lost and the 2nd transmission didn’t even have all the parts so we continuously had to call and ask for parts that were missing. Your company hasn’t given us a single reason to spend another dime with you none of your products have lasted more than a month at max! I’ve been cussed at by Jake over the phone, phone calls never get returned and it took my husband calling Jake to even get somewhere with the transmission. None of your products have held up so why should we drop more money on products that have shown up with parts of our old motors/transmissions? Jake even confirmed this in a previous phone call. Plus we were charged an additional $900 because there was “damage” to the motor when it was sent in.  We have spoken with multiple lawyers and have even given them copies of everything we were given including emails and texts, they recommended we try going through the BBB and if that doesn’t get us a refund on money spent that they are more than willing to take this to court. I’ve looked at reviews and can see that this has been an issue for more than just my husband and I.  There is tons more of evidence we have but this will only let me add small amounts. We aren’t wanting to go to court, honestly hoping that you would stand behind your products quality and realize that we have had nothing but issues with motor and transmission since the day we got them.

      Sincerely,

      **** ****

Purchased a Built engine from this company in October of 2023 with a cost of $5750 Engine had over heating issues 300 miles in. Turned out to be a bad head gasket. But upon inspecting bad head gasket, mechanic noticed pieces of scotch brite inside the head which scored the cams and mating surfaces which resulted in having to send the motor back to rev 6 for warranty. Rev 6 rebuilt the engine. Upon receiving the new engine, rev 6 did not install the parts I paid for in the engine. Mechanic noticed after installing all the accessories that it was not built properly so all the labor was added for nothing. As well as all the labor added to take all the accessories back off to ship the motor back for another time to be built properly. At this point I have paid utv shop $1925 in labor. I call rev 6 and talk to the manager. I state to the manager that I have already paid $1925 in labor and there will be more cost to bolt accessories on new motor, install new motor, break in new motor, and make sure everything is good to go. I asked to make sure my labor costs will be reimbursed and the manager stated either I get my $5750 refund or get taken care of and get my labor costs refunded. I chose the route of getting my labor costs refunded and the engine built properly. Finally get the 3rd motor back in January. Mechanic installs it and everything is good. I pay a bill of $2730 for the remainder of the work after everything is said and done. I had spent a total $4655 over the past few months in labor because rev 6 couldn't get it correct and things needed to be done more than once.

******'s engine has been fixed and the labor costs involved with this issue have been reimbursed as of 2/9/24.  There is nothing outstanding on this case to be done.

Opinion needed…I have a 2016 Polaris Ranger 570 xp. I had 14k on the original motor. After some searching I went with Rev6 motor. After speaking with a salesperson on the phone they recommended the 570 with a big bore kit $3500 plus $500 for the big bore $400 for the tune and a 2 year warranty which if I remember was $600. After waiting for about 3-4 weeks the motor arrived. Installed it and went through the break in instructions. Unfortunately the motor only lasted about 250-300 hours and it was going through oil. So I contacted rev6 through text and phone calls and they told me to remove and send back for warranty work. So I removed motor and sent it back on my dime. $125 plus time for removal. Well I waited another 3-4 weeks and a new motor arrived. Installed the motor went to start it and it would not fire. I contacted them again and they told me to check the timing which I did and it was 180 degrees out of time. I adjusted it and it still didn’t fire. It was cranking but wouldn’t start. So I brought it to a Polaris dealer for evaluation. They told me they couldn’t get it to fire and that something was wrong with the motor. Since it wasn’t a Polaris motor and it was a rev6 motor that there was nothing they could do. So I contacted rev6 again and they said to remove and send back again for diagnostics. At that time Justin told me he would never recommend a big bore kit on a 570 because the cylinder walls. He suggested to go back to stock with a stock tune. Well after fighting with the on that they gave me a refund of $900 for the big bore and tune. Well I got the motor back to stock and guess what…boom after 8 hours. Now they said since they gave me a refund of $900 they are done with it and no longer warranting the motor. My warranty is now expired and I’m out my time of installing and uninstalling, Polaris dealership bill and a motor. What should I do? What can I do? Thanks for any advice.

We ordered a rebuilt transmission for our side x side. It shipped out late, when we got it we were notified a few days later that we received the wrong one & we were to box it back up and get it ready to ship they would send ours, I received an email assuring us ours would be here the next day by 6 we had our mech. Wait around due to the holiday & it didn’t show up then when we finally got it the mech installed it and we took it out the transmission wasn’t working correctly it slid out of park on a slope with two kids trying to get out, caused bodily injury to me & hit my husband’s side x side, causing damage to it, it blinks in rev and grinds we contacted them was told that we need to take the trans case off and take a pic and there is a part that is wired backwards and they will need to send us a replacement part but they want to see for sure which was in mine, we did that and then found there was an open hole with oil around it sent a pic of that, then we r told that oh sorry we sent u the wrong transmission again so u will need to have the mech pull it out and send it back and we will send u another one, at our cost. Which is a little over $1000 to have done. They refuse to pay the mech fee for their mistake. We never asked for money for the mech waiting when it didn’t show up, for the physical injuries, for the damage to the other machine or for endangering our children by sending us the incorrect trans we just asked that they pay the mechanic to take the wrong one out and put the next 1 in. We were hung up on told there was no way to speak to a general manager and they will not cover the cost of pulling the wrong 1 they sent and replacing it. None of this was my fault, they were provided the vin# to insure the correct trans was sent and yet we received 2 wrong ones and now they want us to pay to have it done again when it was their fault. We just want the correct trans in working order and them to pay the mech for fixing their mistake, he sent them an invoice
