An employee drove my vehicle into the shop wrecklessly and damaged the front of my car which will require repair. I was offered only a replacement on front splitter which was replaced with a cheaper plastic part. The part that was damaged was carbon fiber. When speaking with ***************** at Big O, they will not claim responsibility for any of the other damage claiming that there was previous damage to that part of the vehicle. There were witnesses that work at Big O that have testified that the car was driven into the shop in a wreckless manner and did in fact cause the damage.Business response

******************************* was contacted by phone on 03/15/2024. Big O Tires sent the video footage of the car being pulled into the shop. The car was not being driven recklessly. The car has altered suspension to be lower to the ground. When the vehicle was pulled onto the hoist in the tire bay, the front bumper lip hit the hoist. After the incident happened, the car was moved into another portion of the shop so it could be raised higher to inspect for damage. The customer was brought into the shop at that time to inspect himself. Upon inspection, we found that there has been previous repairs done to the bumper, including self tapping screws, wood screws and tape holding bumper and front lip. We also found that there was previous damage to the inner fender well resulting in the tire rubbing a hole in the fender well. These issues were pointed out to the customer at that time. Customer agreed that there had been previous damage to the front bumper and admitted that this happens often with his lowered car. Big O agreed to replace the front bumper lip with a new replacement part. The part was given to the customer once it arrived and the customer wanted to install himself. Customer was satisfied at that time with the resolution. 14 days later ************************** called stating the car was in a rear end collision. When the car was being winched onto the tow truck the front bumper was damaged again. Also stated that the front bumper lip was the incorrect part. Big O agreed to replace the front bumper lip with the correct bumper lip. After speaking with **************************, he agreed that he may not have gotten the full story from his son that drives/owns the car.Customer response
