04/10/21 I purchased a vehicle from 4 seasons auto sales. The salesman sold me a extended warranty worth around 2500$ additional dollars. He lead me to believe I was required to purchase this extended warranty. I did included it in the price. I had put a substantial amount of a down payment down 5000$. The total price of the vehicle was around 10000$. The sales man assured me that the used vehicle had undergone rigorous presales safety checks and reliability checks. The business even advertises that they put all their vehicles through extensive presales checks (4 Seasons Certified and they spend 1500$ per vehicle making sure it in top mechanical condition before its sold is what their add says) I had serious problems with this vehicle within a month. 1st the ESP light came on and my entire vehicle shuts down. This can effect the break pedal, throttle body, and steering sensor among other things. The extended warranty wouldn't cover because I was within 100 miles of dealership. I had to have the vehicle towed at my expense 75 miles to the dealership. They said they repaired the ignition switch and that's what caused the light to come on. About 2 months later the transmission started slipping between 1-2 gears and there was a serious shaking when the vehicle was traveling at hwy speed. I found out when I took the vehicle in that CV joints and motor mounts needed replaced and that the transmission had issues but needed to go to the dealer for the transmission issue. Since I'm running out of space I'll end with the fact that the extended warranty didn't cover anything and the transmission issue almost cost me my life. The transmission slipped or malfunctioned so badly the my car went over a 200 ft cliff almost with me in it. I was able to jump out before it went over. The breaks in the car also seemed to not be working properly either at the time of the accident. This may have something to do with the afore mentioned ESP indicator that was supposedly fixed.Customer response

I am asking to be reimbursed for the full amount of the extended warranty that I was forced to purchase when I bought the vehicle, The extended warranty was worthless and was a total scam. 4 Seasons auto sales needs to be given a negative rating by the BBB in that their vehicles are not in fact checked adequately, certified as they put it, as they advertise, the vehicle they sold me was very defective and almost cost me my life. This auto sales company is dishonest and a danger to the community they operate in.
Thank you
