I purchased a puppy from Puppy House and brought him back to *********, **. I took the dog to get his rabies shot and ***** test because he had non stop diarrhea. I thought it might have been due to the change of food, however my vet diagnosed him with *******. I have other dogs in my household and I have spent hundreds of dollars on testing and treatment for this puppy and my other dogs. Hes going on his 3rd round of antibiotics because ******* is hard to get rid of. Im super frustrated because I would have never bought a pet that was sick, especially exposing that pet to my other dogs. I paid $1700 for this puppy and unfortunately hes been sick ever since I brought him home. I have the receipts and testing to prove it.

      Hello *********

Giardia is a parasite. This parasite is so common it is almost routine in vet offices to have a ***** test ordered on the first couple vet visits.

On the day you purchased the puppy on the health contract you signed it states we do not cover parasites.

We deworm consistently as soon as a puppy arrives.

however parasites are extremely common especially in puppies.

I would talk to your vet about reinfestation and a way to prevent it.

date started was 1-12-23 when we requested they find us a female white boxer AKC registered. This is the second puppy we ordered from them. Our first one was over 2 years ago and had no problems. We wanted to use them again. We ordered a AKC white boxer from Puppy House. We got a call that she was in and had been cleared by their vet. we drove from Las Vegas to St George to pick her up when we arrived we found out that she was not AKC but ACA. they said they would file the AKC papers to get her dual registered. So the puppy was coughing and we were told their vet said it was allergies. We went ahead and paid 3100.00 total for her and by the time we got back to Vegas her cough was worse and more frequent we were told that there was only 15 day guarantee on their contract is paying up to 500.00 for medicine. we decided to take her in to our vet as an emergency, she was diagnosed with sever pneumonia, under weight by 10 pounds, struggling to breath, and a parrisite in her body. so far a 2000.00 vet bill she is in the hospital on oxygen, fluids, antibiotics and the vet dont know if she will make it. Puppy House now will not call us back, will not pay for the vet care and said they will communicate via email which we are still waiting for. The knew the puppy was sick and falsified that she was well. we requested a copy of the their vet report which we still have not gotten. they were suppose to also provide AKC papers and genetic testing report that we dont have yet either. Please they need to be fined for selling sick and almost dead dogs. We did send all the exrays, vet reports and estimate to them via email. which they requested. I will do whatever needs be to see that they never sell another sick puppy to anyone. They would not even discount her down since she was not AKC like i requested. Or pay for the vet bill...... After seeing horrible reviews after we bought our first puppy i just wonder what happened to this business and their caring.

About a week ago (April 1st 2021) I went and got a dog from the puppy store, the one by Albertsons (?? I already know I shouldnt after I already did. I had no idea this place was so bad. And didnt hear anything about it till I had already got the dog) I worked with a very smooth talking older gentleman. We financed threw a company one half and then he in house financed the other. And had me put down $180 cash as a down payment. We agreed that I would make two $300 payments a month until it was payed off. Today (april6th)I received a call from the store saying he had no right to do that and that that sales man was being audited.? and that if I dont come up with over $1500 in two days they are going to take the dog back. And that because he broke contract with them apparently mine is non void. After talking with the lady longer and I mentioned the down payment she said there was no record of me putting down $180 CASH. He had pocketed the money. ?now they are refusing to give me a receipt of the $180 I gave them even tho they reviewed the cameras and seen that I gave him the money.

Although $1500 was not authorized  to in-house finance Puppy House is honoring the deal that was made that day. As for the $180 we cannot provide a receipt for money that we never obtained however customer is not being held accountable for it and will not have to pay it back. Not to sure what the complaint is about

My name is ****** ***** on January 24th 2021 at 3:59:33 pm I purchased a Blaze Pomsky for breeding purposes from puppy house LLC st George. I was told by not 2 but 3 of your employees one of which was a manager that this dog was in “perfect breeding condition” when in fact he was not. He has cryptorchidism (undescended testicle). He can not breed and if he does he has a huge chance at passing it down to his offspring which makes his testicles worthless. Attached below are his medical record along with a note from the vet saying he should not breed. Not only that but he has a higher chance at developing testicular cancer because of it. I payed nearly 4,000$ for this dog that I was told was in perfect condition. Cryptorchidism is a usually passed down from the father which means I was either lied to or purposely not told that this dog had this problem. Because I bought him at 3-4 months old this defect would have 100% been detectable. I have 3 witnesses to this fact that I was told this dog was in perfect condition and was not informed of such defect. as the same day I also purchased a pure bred Great Dane. And a pure bred corgi with friends. They say they have 45 years of experienced licensed breeders something like this should not happen. do the right thing here.

11.01.2021 I walked past puppy house and noticed a puppy that had been there for two months. It broke my heart to see this large breed puppy in a tiny glass square box for that long. It kept me up all night long so the next morning I decided to go get the puppy. 11.02.2021 I went to puppy house and asked many questions about the puppies health that I was inquiring about. I was assured that the puppy had been vet checked and was healthy, up-to-date on immunizations, and had no problems. I asked multiple times if I could see how the puppy interacted on the floor, because I had only seen the puppy laying down. They informed me that I was not allowed to see the puppy on the floor because of diseases tracked in on customers shoes. They told me the puppy was not allowed on the ground until it was purchased. I was informed that the puppy was running around and playing just fine earlier. I ended up purchasing the puppy and carried it out the door. When I got home and put the puppy down to run around, I am mediately noticed there was something off about her back legs. The paws point outward and she has a hard time with balance. She would tip over often. Immediately took her to the vet and he confirmed that she has significant angular Limb deformities of hind limbs. Hocks are bilaterally angled inward while the toes show a Valgus deformity. I am mediately returned to the puppy house to ask for a refund as the vet said she would require a very expensive surgery to correct for legs. They informed me that I would not be receiving a refund, that they would “file a claim” I informed them that I will not be leaving until I received a refund so they called the police on me and trust past me from their store. I am extremely sick and by the lack of care for these animals, And the mini lies I was told. They knowingly sold a deformed puppy and were not transparent about her medical history. I also was told she had akc registration but I did not receive paperwork.

We went to the Puppy House located on Red Cliffs Drive, Washington City Utah on Friday October 22, 2021. It is a second location for the Puppy House located in St. George, Utah. The puppies are kept in a 3 x 3 foot box until they are sold. They do not have an area where the puppies can be taken by employees for exercise/bathroom breaks. One of the puppies is a Bernese Mountain dog, a large breed that typically grows to 100+lbs. She arrived when she was 9 weeks old and is now 14+ weeks old. She has not left the box in over a month. She is scrawny for her breed and age, her coat lacks luster, her muscles are clearly atrophying. She has outgrown the box. We witnessed her peeing in corner of the box and eating dog food off the floor of the box (there are no dog bowls and no free access to water) less than a foot away from where she urinated. She has to lay down between these two areas. These conditions lead to behavioral problems for the pups later in life. We were told the puppies came from reputable breeders but manager could not provide pictures of parents and when asked to provide hip scores/eye and blood tests of parents, they no longer wished to sell the dog to us. Business advertises 10 yr genetic guarantee however. Puppies are being treated inhumanely--animal cruelty. Puppies require a sanitized, employee supervised exercise area where daily walks can be performed. Large breed dogs should not be sold if they cannot accommodate growing puppy size. Puppies should be not accepted from unverified breeders who cannot provide photos of parents/living arrangements/genetic testing--ie avoid puppy mills. I would like to see that Bernese mountain dog puppy given to a home or no kill shelter before she dies in that box.
