In 3/2020 bought a travel trailer from *******, ***************, **** for $90,000. Their website and the salesman, ****** *** described trailer with 3 A/C units (***) for the three compartments. After I bought it and went camping the garage compartment would not cool off. The next week I took it into the dealer for the A/C to be serviced and they found out it only had two ***s. ****** acknowledged it was supposed to have 3 and said he "would make it right". He ordered another unit which was installed a few months later when the *** arrived. No one said I needed to pay for it. About six months later when I was having a service issue I was told the A/C unit was showing as not paid. I told the service department to contact the salesman, ****** *** (who is also the owner's son). I never heard anything back. Yesterday I contacted the service department about a wonterization problem with the trailer. I live over 100 miles from the dealership. The service **** ****** told me he had been told by management that they would not service my RV until I paid the A/C ****.I told ****** that the low temperature where I live was supposed to 1 on Friday and I needed to get it winterized to prevent damage. The pump was not working properly. I called****** and said i needed to pay the **** to get service. I reminded ****** he said he would take care of the **** back when it happened. He said I knew it only has 2 A/C units when I did the walk through inspection at the time of purchase. I reminded him it was sold to me with three not two. He said the manufacturer was going through a shortage and had stripped the 3rd unit off of a few units to put on others for a month and a half without the dealer knowing. He said he was not aware of the problem at the time. He apologized waiting 8 months in telling about the ****. He was willing for me to pay $800 of the $1,600. I ageed uononder protest that I would pay the $800 when I brought the trailer in for service. I believe this us extortion!
