Mynt installed our solar panels and within a year, the Enphase Envoy quit working, which monitors the solar panel output. Mynt sent someone and they confirmed it was defective and was within the warranty period. They ordered a new unit from Enphase. Enphase confirmed that they delivered it to Mynt withing the month but Mynt still has not installed the replacement unit. I have emailed them several times and called several times and they have been completely silent. It has been four months since it was delivered to Mynt.

BAIT & SWITCH at least from a financial disclosure point of view. A fast sales pitch is used which is continued and encouraged by the project management team and also by the financial institution. Questions are not fully answered. The company is not clear or forthright in the following areas. 1. Financing is stated to be 6.9% of balance due but that is actually an interest only loan (no principle) for 13 months. Thereafter the loan rewrites depending upon how much you pay into principle. In calculating total costs, the assumption is made that you will get a tax rebate that you will then plow back into principle. Nice thought but many people wont/cant do this and some people do not receive a tax refund. 2. ****************** produced during daylight hours goes back into the grid and then one draws from the grid at night. Nice idea but this is not a free return of your power. Electric companies dont return this power in full. This means that even if you are producing 100% of your electric usage, you will receive an electric bill for power coming back from the grid. You will get some credit for your power but definitely not all. 3. In order to retain all of the power you produce, you will need a storage battery which they dont even allude to. I am told that storage batteries range from about $9000 for an insignificant model upwards to $20,000 or more! Crazy! That price equals or is greater than the total solar panel purchase. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!
