They like to offer card buying services where they'll only give you half of what the market value is then when you go in to try to sell your cards they'll tell you they can't buy them after 6 pm when they don't close until 10pm then when I come in on Sunday less than an hour after they open they tell me they can't buy them on Sundays but they can "take collections then call me days later to talk about buying them". I honestly think their business and or employees are running a scam where they rob people out of money and or quality cards for lesser valued ones

Hey Cody, We do indeed offer a service where we buy used cards though it is not our main business by any means as we are a retail store. In order to actually make money buying and selling used singles as a business we do offer to buy cards at 50% of their market value so that we can try to resell them. Some cards sell and others don't so that is the chance we take, but that is the nature of doing business. As a small company we usually only have 2 staff members at a time, and during out busy time they do not have time to evaluate and grade big collections as they are helping customers, running tournaments, running the register etc, so during those busy times we will only look over collections if we find some slow time to do so, otherwise we allow customers so leave their collections to be graded, or use our customer computer to build theri buylist(the list of cards you want to sell us, which gives them a quote and leaves only a final check needed). Building a buylist puts the work on the customer however so often its easier to just leave us the colllection for us to grade and evaluate later. You are always welcome since you are selling cards as an individual and not as a business to sell your cards on market places such as eBay etc where you can list your items one at a time, respond to customers, pay for shipping, and hopefully sell your cards. We would never suggest a customer who wants to get full market value for a card not do just that. What we offer is a much faster way to sell your cards where we do the work and take all the guess work of being a business yourself, but then as a business we then need to be able to resell them so we cannot buy them at full market value or we would not make anything. I assure you we do not rob people of their money or take their quality cards for lesser ones.
