My partner and I have been going to Veritas winery for a while when we lived in ********. We had a date set originally with Events director ***** for 10/15/20221. Due to my partner relocation in job we had to move to Colorado. We were turned over to ****** the new event director/manager. We reset the date for 09/23/2023.And into 2023, we informed her that due to the finance setback from us having to move, we would no longer be able to continue on with the wedding. She informed us that our date could be taken over if another couple had confirmed with Veritas. If not, we would lose the remainder of the money as well as the fact that they would have to keep that portion due to business being lost. ****** had said that our quote/pricing was offered to another individualHowever, they currently have an event being put on by Veritas their self called 2023 Mad Jazz Festival by charging $25 per ticket,VIP ticket $100 per,under 21 ticket $15 add on per.and giving away complimentary tickets for members as well. And hosting the vent with multiple musicians. They have gone through 4 of these event managers and my partner is there at this very moment receiving half responded answers by the new individual who has been there 4 weeks. She has told my partner that they dont have to put much into it because they are having food trucks. Their new manager only put a pin in since she is not familiar with our situation. She has also told my partner today that the inquiries they received were more than our pricing/quote which is inaccurate! Im HIGHLY frustrated because this company is NOT losing money in place of our wedding being canceled. We demand the remainder of our money given back. They are currently still acting as through they do not know about our situation or what any of the details are. At this point we highly feel as if our money was stolen from us!Customer response
