Bunch of crooks! I have had several cars from them and majority of them have been lemons. My husband was driving one that had engine issues that they said they fixed but really all they did was add another piece to the refurbished engine that ended up failing causing a near fatal car accident in November 2021 and another one that had air bags deploy while he was driving it! I had 3 vehicles that were deemed total losses in car accidents by my insurance. We also had gap insurance on each vehicle because according to ******* "its required" when financing a vehicle with them. But what they don't tell you is their gap insurance has a cap of $1800 so you're better off getting your own gap insurance that will pay more in event something were to happen. They prey on people who work hard for their money, they'll finance ANYONE with a pulse even if you don't have a real job they'll find a way to get you financed, and they count on the fact that people don't read and dig into their finance paperwork because they have a ton of fine print to get you caught up in their schemes ******* was paid $15,543.60 on the first vehicle + $1800 from gap insurance, second vehicle my insurance paid $15,478.03 plus $1800 from gap insurance, third vehicle they were paid $12,064.99 by my insurance and another $1800 from gap insurance. ******* decided to commit fraud and put them on my credit as "repossessions" WITH THE TOTAL AMOUNT FINANCED as if payments were never made on the vehicles. How can you repo something that's sitting in a junk yard totaled & deemed as a total loss by insurance? They wanted to double-dip and get paid more than twice for each vehicle, so they decided to report it to the credit bureaus INCORRECTLY. If the cars were repossessed, why is it that I never received any kind of final bill? I never received any repossession letter, which legally they have to provide. I never received anything from their janky "TOTAL AUTO FINANCE" about my car having a repossession order.

      Greetings,

We (Total Auto Finance) researched complaint with ************. We found out that 1st loan customer had with ******** ****** ********** and after sale Dealerships are out of the picture as it is between lien holder and account holder. We do not have any idea what happened after customer had accident for the 1st car. As we know the 1st vehicle was 2014 ***** *** and per customer she involved to accident. We were lien holder for the 2nd loan. Loan was for 2011 *** * series. Customer involved in accident and Insurance and GAP paid off loan completely. We reported account as Paid off. Please see attached screenshot from our system. The last loan with TAF was issued back in 2021 and customer involved in accident with that car as well. Car totaled and after Insurance and GAP proceedings had negative balance. Customer financed high finance charges due bad payment history in previous loans which were not covered by Insurance and GAP. Per ******************* customer started putting complaints and bad reviews after she declined for new loan.

      Thanks,

This customer is misleading. We find out in January 24th that car is in impound lot. Customer at that time was 27 days for monthly payment. We found out that car involved in accident and all attempts to reach customer was unsuccessful. We paid impound lot $1595 and then started Insurance claim. Insurance settled vehicle as total loss and it took them 2 month to pay proceedings. Then GAP claim started and they just paid off bad debt May 27th. This customer never paid late payments after November. Account was considered repossessed prior to Insurance settlement. Account was charged off and later recovery payments paid off bad debt. We will never do business with this customer.

      Greetings,

We researched the complaint with our resources. As Lender *** makes sure that we are working with account holders. As of now the account is current and in good standing. In order to help our customer we did our best. We even contacted the seller and per information Seller forwarded vehicle to *** Franchise dealership. Per Seller's statement, the car had a recall from Manufacturer that caused engine failure. However, as we know ************** has been provided with a free loaner vehicle as soon as vehicle went to service. The Manufacturer will replace the vehicle engine with a new engine. At this point we do not see the reason for the customer asking for leniency. However, if the customer specifically shares with us what kind of Billing Adjustment he is looking for we can review it.

      Thanks,
