Virginia Bathtub Refinishing (VBR) refinished my bathtub and tile surround on 5/17/21 for the amount of $625. They were doing business as American Reglazing Services at the time, but all the contact information is the same. In October, the glazing on the tile surround flaked off in one spot. Over the next several months multiple spots began to lose adhesion and crackle and flake off. I didn't want them to come out to fix a spot and another one pop up, so I waited. I haven't seen any new trouble spots pop up in a few months, so I contacted VBR about coming out to fix the issue. VBR warranties their work for 5 years for homeowners. On 7/25/22 I emailed **************** to inform him of the issues I am having. He responded asking for pictures on 7/27/22. I sent pictures the same day. I didn't receive another response, so I called him on Monday, 8/1/22. Every time I call, it goes to voicemail, and I get an immediate text saying, "I'll call you back." **************** texted back a few minutes later asking me to text him pictures. I sent the pictures again, answered a few questions he asked and told him I wanted him to come out to fix it on Thursday 8/4. He said he would get back to me. After not hearing from him for over a week, I called and was sent to voicemail again. He texted back "Is Friday ok." He came out Friday 8/12/22 to look at the issues and take more photos. I thought he was fixing it that day but that wasn't the case. I asked him to return Monday or Tuesday to reglaze the tile. He said he would have to talk to his boss and check the schedule. I didn't hear from him, so I called again on Tuesday 8/16/22 and once again got the "I'll call you back" text. I left a message saying I wanted to get on his schedule for 9/1/22. After not getting a callback, I called him again on 8/22/22. I was sent to voicemail again and left a message requesting repairs on 9/1/22 and said if I don't hear back my next call would be to the Better Business Bureau. He has not responded.
