This business had a special going on for Christmas: Buy 3 massage gift cards and get one free. So I bought the special on Dec. 23, 2021. I paid $239.97 for the 3 massage gift cards. I went to get a massage on February 6, 2022 at 11am using one of my massage gift cards. When I gave my gift card to pay, the lady at the massage place told me that since I did not buy the monthly massage membership, that I would have to pay the full price for the massage - $159.00. I was shocked to hear this! I told the lady that when I bought the gift cards from her, that she did not tell me this condition. I said that no where in the Christmas flyer did it say anything about having to buy the monthly membership in order to get a massage for $79.99. So she solved the issue by letting me pay for my massage at the introductory price, which I paid with one of the gift cards. But then she told me that I would have to pay full price for my next massages. I told her that I felt deceived, and that if she had told me this information when I was buying the gift cards, that I would not have bought these gift cards at all! Not for $159.00 per massage!! The flyer did not have any of these conditions explained. I think businesses need to be very honest when dealing with the public, and I do not think this business acted in an honest manner when offering these massage gift cards for Christmas. They made it sound like you would be buying 3 massages for $79.99 each, and that you were getting one free massage, for a total of 4 massages for $239.97 - a great deal!
