      I took my 2021 Genesis GV80 in for a sound coming from the rear. After replacing two major parts in the rear the sound was still there. They have had my car for a month now and the problem is still not resolved. Management is not calling with updates and text me back when I call them. The car looks beautiful but the company does not stand behind their product. I was told by a manager that luxury cars wear out fast. That's not saying much about the product you are selling. I had to let him know this was not my first luxury car and I knew better.

      I took my car to their dealership. My check engine light was on, which was giving me code P0017, which indicates the bad oil in the system. Before this, I did some of the basic diagnostics and replaced some of the parts for which the code asked. Also, I took the car to some mechanics, who weren't sure. Why the car has this code, everything is functioning normally. They advised me to take it to the dealer. I made an appointment with Hyundai of Alexandria for 900 A.M, and I gave them the car. They told me: that "diagnostics would take up to 3 hours", and I replied, "it's fine, and I will wait." They couldn't figure it out until 11:00 A.M, and they asked to extend the time to 4 hours. I told them that "I would be back around 5 P.M to pick up the car." I called them at 1 o'clock no response, and I called them again at 1:30 P.M. They told me, "When was the last time you changed the oil?" This question throws me off. I asked them, "since the code was indicating bad oil in the system," how come you didn't check the oil since 9:00 A.M. They said: "We were trying to make sure." I said, "how come you guys are not taking the proper diagnostics steps on a car as a dealer, and after 4 hours, you are asking me a question that supposedly been asked at the beginning of diagnostics. The funny part was that they had already opened the top of the engine, such as spark plugs, etc. Also, they didn't even close my car hood properly, and these are the things I noticed. I don't know what else they have done to my car? I don't know what was their intention; also, since I picked up my car from their dealership; somehow, my car makes some other noises, and I know they did it on purpose. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!!

      A week after having my BRAND NEW 2022 Hyundai Tucson at Alexandria Hyundai shop, repairs were to do be done. After picking up my vehicle and driving less than 12 miles from the shop the SAME issue was reinstated. This is concerning and unsettling, not only that my repairs weren’t complete 100% but my brand new vehicle is malfunctioning. Please be aware of your repairs at Alexandria Hyundai and do more research on selecting new vehicles from Hyundai.
