      My dispute is about a front tire that has a big gash in it. I drove 3.5 hours to get the car, upon reaching an agreement for a cash deal with a trade in at a set price without the dealership seeing the car I was trading in. The owner of the the dealership inspects my car sees a crack in the window and a problem with the back up camera of the car I traded in and charged me an extra $900 for the window and an extra $600 for the camera which was fine I paid the the extra $1500. I drive the car I purchased from the dealership home the following morning it was raining on the way home so I decided to wash the car and upon shining the tires I noticed the big gash in the front passenger tire. I reach out to to ***** the car salesman send him a picture sating I needed to be compensated for this tire. He suggested that maybe I hit something which I definitely did not. In the picture he can see theres on damage to rim in the area of the gash. He sends me a photo of the vehicle inspection report which in my opinion means nothing. Somebody cleaned the car that I purchased and shined the wheels up real nice and I know they seen the gash and failed to mention anything about it. Im just asking for a new tire thats it. I purchased the car 3/31/23 and reached out to Uzair 4/1/23

      Please see our response below to the above complaint:

      "****************** assessment of the situation is accurate for the most part.  We are located 3 hours away so we discussed the deal and his trade prior to his arrival.  Once he arrived, we inspected his trade vehicle and noticed he hadn't disclosed a cracked windshield and rearview camera that was inoperable.  The adjustments were made and a new "trade allowance" was quoted to him.  While we inspected his vehicle, ************** visually inspected ours and then drove it.  We then agreed on the final numbers and struck a deal.  The next day ************** sent us a picture stating the tire had a chuck missing from the sidewall.  This is pretty common in the car business - a customer leaves with the vehicle and then contacts us the next day or in some cases, several days later stating there is an issue or something they didn't notice at the time of purchase.  For this reason, in order to protect ourselves, and our customers, we always do an inspection once the vehicle is listed for sale, and another inspection at the time of sale, prior to delivery.  A copy of this inspection report is provided to the customer at the time of sale.  We also sent the report to ************** showing there was no chunk missing from the tire prior to it leaving.  Here at Action Automotive, we strive for 100% customer satisfaction on every vehicle we sell.  We want all of our customers to be happy, but unfortunately, sometimes that is not the case."
