I have a contract through American Home Shield. My oven was broken. They sent out Mid *** to deliver the new oven and they broke my door. My front door came completely off of the frame and is still broken. I have called the company with zero responses I have called the BBB but they have ***** responsibility and I am at a loss of what to do I have been losing air conditioning and heat for months now!Customer response

MiD was contracted through ****** to provide delivery (9/1/22) of a replacement of a new dryer that had an issue right out of the box. My washer needed to be moved in order to get the existing dryer out and the replacement in. In the process of moving the washer the company tore a hole in my brand new vinyl flooring (this is a new construction home less than a month old). During the entire delivery and installation I was doing yard work outside. Upon completion the delivery team provided me with a completion slip, which on fault of my own, I just blindly signed without a thorough inspection. As I was signing it I jokingly said to the team "You didn't damage anything in there did you?" All the team members sort of looked down at the ground but I didn't think much of it. That should have been a sign to go look. Later that day I did look at the laundry room and did not notice anything other than some marks on the wall and a couple black spots on the floor from them dragging the washer. Two days later I noticed the washer had not been moved back to its original place. I started to clean the black spots off the floor and while on my knees at floor level I noticed a sizable tear in my floor and the foot of the washer right up next to it. The tear was obviously from this delivery. The only other people in the laundry room were the original delivery team a week prior (8/26) and there was no damage after their delivery. Upon speaking with both the local manager *** and the corporate Office Manager *** in **********, **, they both simply repeated the same denial of claim language to me. This is an unacceptable resolution. I filed an insurance claim with MiD and their handler ********. That claim has been denied as MiD "cannot prove they absolutely caused the damage." This is terrible business and speaks to the complaints and reviews listed about this company.Initial Complaint

On April 30,2022 an order was submitted to purchase a GE Dishwasher, with a scheduled delivery date of May 16,2022. Upon arrival and delivery between the (2) inexperienced installers, neither could remove nor replace the water connection line. The installers insisted a plumber was required, which meant rescheduling a new service install date. The work was completed and prepared for the new GE dishwasher to be install on June 01, 2022 once the plumber completed the specific requirements. *************************** from MID Inc., arrived with an assistant, snapped photos, and refused the completion of the install. **************** insisted the plumber was responsible for the install and all mechanical device(s) fixtures to facilitate the task. GE Appliance store was paid for the in-home delivery, removal/disposal, and installation in the amount of $1030.95. The charges for a certified licensed plumber and totaled $407.95 not to mention the repeated inconvenience and service provided by the delivery contractor MID ***** They are totally and incompetent. The individuals that arrived at 8:08 am simply did not want to do the job, utilized excuses to justify another delay. **************** tried to support his decline to complete the job by placing an un identified male on speaker phone to persuade and support his claim of declining to perform the install. Telephone calls to MID INC., ************ go directly to voicemail and have not been returned, my concerns seemly have gone ignored. Additional telephone calls to MID INC., @ ************ are not returned.Customer response

At this time, I have not been contacted by MiD Inc. regarding complaint ID ********. The ** franchise which authorized shipment of the appliance using MID Inc., did not reply either to a written letter of complaint.

When delivering the product they damaged my wall and never paid for damages or responded to my email. When I sent them pictures of damages that happened.
