I ordered a wall oven in Jan 2022. The owner kept delaying the delivery of the oven due to production delay until Jan 2023. I finally canceled the order and requested a refund. The owner issued a refund check, which was dis-honored by non-payment and account closure. I contacted the owner (**********) for a refund again. He said he does not have money to refund.Initial Complaint

Initially, I inquired about a refrigerator and a tv with the company. The total cost would be $52,00. Later, i decided not to the refrigerator and just the TV. I placed an order for a TV two months ago after he said that the delivery will take 2 weeks. When it was time to make the payment, he came by my workplace and collected the check for the amount for the refrigerator and the tv. When i told him not to deposit the check because we didn't want to buy the refrigerator anymore, he went and deposited the check anyway. After numerous calls, he said the tv will take another two weeks and mentioned he delivered the check back for the amount of $3,400 ( cost of fridge) but it never came in. When i offered to come by the office to pick up the check, he was not there. Its been two weeks and he has not picked up his calls and have no opened his office since then. I just want the check and the tv. please get this resolvedInitial Complaint

On 11/30/2020, we paid $2,823.42 to purchase a dishwasher, microwave, and wall oven from Buying Together (BT) Appliances. We were notified that the items were backordered and that the delivery date would be delayed. This happened several times; the delivery date continued to be pushed further. In May 2021, we finally received the dishwasher and microwave, however, they told us the wall oven was still backordered. Therefore, we asked for a full refund for the wall oven because they could not provide an accurate estimated delivery date and it had been 6 months since we had first placed the order. The business said they would refund the wall oven. By July, we still had not received the refund for the wall oven. We contacted the business and they said they processed the refund so we would need to contact the credit card company for any issues. In August, we worked with our credit card company to file a dispute because they had not received any refund transactions from the business.........Initial Complaint

On June 3rd, 2021, we ordered from Buying Together,***********************************, Annandale, Virginia ****** US (Ph:*************************** ****) to purchase ******* 27 Inch Double Combination Electric Wall Oven (Invoice No: ********). I paid $5198 ,charged through Centerville Electronic, VA, using my credit card . Buying Together had promised to deliver the Oven on June 08, 2021. The seller extended the delivery date several times under different pretexts. On the 16th of September, upon our request, the order was cancelled, and he agreed that the funds would be returned to the credit card. Despite several requests, the refund has not been made. We spoke to *******************, the proprietor and he claimed that he had already requested the refund. Last week he asked us to dispute this with the credit card and get the money from them. He is not picking up the phone or responding to messages. I can share relevant documents if needed.
