I rescued a dog a couple of weeks ago and can’t be more happy The organization was very professional and polite with excellent communication The transportation people were also awesome I would recommend Save a Mutt Kennel to anyone looking to rescue an animal Ed, the dog that I adopted is sitting on my lap and wants to than all of you

I am not happy with my recent experience and would not recommend adoption from this rescue. I do not think they do a comprehensive check based on the fact that I was approved within hours. The communication with Betty was inconsistent and I never received answers for specific questions that I asked (which I was told to ask away). Her papers were not available upon pick up and the first page (when they arrived over a week later) said to not give the dog a bath as flea treatment had just been applied. Needless to say, I gave her a bath. Lastly, my puppy supposedly passed her vet inspection for travel yet she actively had ring worm and nothing was said. I discovered it the day after picking her up becausr it was that obvious (only I didn't know at the time it was ring worm but had to wait to make her a vet appointment until I received her papers.
