I called and made an appointment for laser hair removal with Georgetown rejuvenation. I've been burned in the past, so I made sure to ask if they had a YAG laser that is for my skin. They assured me they did and booked my appointment. I went in for the first session and they performed the laser hair removal with a non YAG laser. I didnt realize until after the appointment when I had several burns. I called the salon and asked again if they had a yag laser. I was told they did. When I let them know the machine burned me , they told me the yag laser is coming soon to their other location. I asked for my money back, and I was told I would have to come in person and let them look at my burns. I went up to the salon and their employees were extremely rude and told me I should have called sooner. The person who performed my first service looked at my burns, and told me “it’s not that bad”. They then told me they would only refund me for a portion of what I paid. I paid a total of $2500 and they decided that they would keep the cost of that one appointment and only refunded $2000. I want a full refund because I didn’t receive the service I paid for. I would not have booked this laser package deal if they had been honest about their laser. I’m not seeking damages for the burns I suffered, I just want my money back in full. Thank you.
