I hired Brooks Elite Landscapes.llc to grade my front yard add top soil and seed it.When the job was completed I call him and told him that were low level where a lot of water was accumulating.He said that he should fix it.He sent his guys on Friday the20th of May I call him and told him the ground was to wet to grade properly he did not answer my call .His guys Spread some dirt put some straw down then they drove their loader to level some dirt they had piled up on the back of my fence,now there are track where the Machine pass and more water is accumulating there now.I sent him a text and told him I would make the final But looking at all that water on the side of my house I cant.The drain still need to be cleaned out so the water can flow and the driveway side still needs to be graded.The job for labor and materials was $6500 I gave him half which is $3250.I just my yard fix right.Business response

We completed this project as documented on our contract that the customer signed. We completed the job exactly as requested. We feel that he was provided with superior service as well as workmanship for the project that he had us take care of. We went back to the property to fix the area that he is referring to, to the best that we can. We have documentation of all of the communications between ourselves and the client, showing that we wanted to get this taken care of correctly for him which is why we went back to fix the one area he was referring to. He did provide us with a 50% deposit, as stated on our legal and binding contract. The job has been completed exactly as defined on the contract. In fact, he got more soil and other materials, not to mention labor of our employees, all for free. We have yet to have been paid the second portion which is the remaining balance for this project, that he stated that he was going to send in and that he owes. I also have email documentation stating that he is aware that he owes it, and that he was going to send in payment. This is not a valid complaint as we provided him with exactly what is outlined on the contract and we have gone back to reassure that he is satisfied with the outcome of the project. all of that was done prior to receiving any additional money. It also should be noted that he had an irrigation company come out and install a new irrigation system all of which is probably contributing to his concerns.
