American Home Shield (AHS) contracted this company to look at my air conditioning unit on 9/16. They came out to inspect the unit and did not give any details about their inspection. We made several phone calls from them to obtain more information but they never answer the phone or returned voicemails. On 9/23, AHS called with no answer and sent an email that has remained unanswered as of 10/6. On 10/5 they finally reached the owner who said he would submit paper work by end of day (it is still not submitted). I have called AHS almost daily and almost daily they call New Life Contracting, refusing to allow anyone else to look at my property for warranty service until this company gives them paperwork. It will be three weeks tomorrow and the AC is still unrepaired and this contractor has STILL not submitted an inspection report.Business response

Technician was scheduled and completed the initial diagnosis appointment on 9/20/2021 and his comments were also made available to AHS on the same date at 2:21pm. (See the attached screenshot displaying the same) It is true that no formal diagnosis was submitted as the diagnosis for "no covered failure found" is under our preauthorized service fee with AHS, however, AHS representatives can see any notes the technician submit within the log. (In theory, there have been some communication issues between the apps recently that may have effected that.) Any email sent by AHS reps is from a "do not replay" address, so if one was received it would simply ask us to call authorizations; Due to long hold times it is very likely that if we had called the call was not answered. Regardless, an AHS rep did reach me via phone and I explained that it was a no failure found since the refrigerant pressures were correct and blower motor was working, confirmed duct work non covered. He asked me to submit the diagnosis so they could determine how to handle and send another contractor for a second opinion work order and I did as requested and received an authorization response email. *** ****** should be receiving a new work order for the second opinion. That's all the information that I have.
